But really why Does it have to auto backup every launch of launchbox? Or maybe have increase to 10 or allow the user to say when to save the backup. This seems more logical to me. Anywho, thx for all of your advice. Ill make sure when get everything working again to save a backup myself.

Unfortunately the furthest dated backup emulators.xml still didn't show retroarch. So it must have lost it somewhere prior. Is there away to stop the backup xml files from deleting itself? Seems that this auto backups should not delete the furthest dated backup everytime I restart the launchbox application unless I the user set it up this way. Maybe I did when I first installed launchbox. But for things like this strange occurance, I wish I could save all my files through a save button in launchbox. This way I know I have good working backups.

In launchbox? If so, what folders? I do see a Backups folder with xml files within launchbox. And I see 4 emulator.xml files. I moved 4 of the 5 oldest files in a separate folder and left the oldest there but it still shows retroarch is not there in my emulator list. This is really a strange occurrence as retroarch has not moved from my Harddrive loacation.

No I'm talking about the platforms I added to launchbox that i WANTED TO work through retroarch. and all the config -c that I added to retroarch emulation tab in launchbox Seems to me this would be in launchbox and have nothing to do with retroarch per say. IM assuming this either saved some place in a launchbox folder and should be somewhere in a saved file or backup.

Possible. Just really strange. Retroarch is still on my Pc like I said. Launchbox doesn't keep backups? Or config backups of retroarch?

Yes I know this. I tried this already. But all of my configurations were gone. Ill once again go thru all OF MY arcade games, all of my Atari games etc and change them to the correct config. There is no auto save in Launchbox? Also I ll have to add the platforms that weren't on it. This took days to do in the first place. How could this happen in the first place? I never deleted anything!

OK like the title says it seems like retroarch setup has disappeared from my emulators list. When I try to add emulator all the games and my conf. setup etc is no longer showing. I'm hoping there is a way to get this back. Someone please help here. Thank you Ill gladly give you more info. Retroarch is still installed on my pc.

I got it all set up through Daphne and everything works that is supposed to except for the voice for Badlands. There is no sound when launching from Launchbox. Out of the daphne loader I get sound just fine. Anyone help with this? Also, Galaxy Ranger and Road Blaster give me "Bad Command Line Errors or initialization problem......." They run just fine inside of Daphne Loader In the rb folder I have two text files. One says Road Blaster.txt and the other says rb.tx. The Road Blaster.txt has a bunch of settings in there. The Rb.txt only says "1 rb.m2v" I have it pointed at rb.txt since this is what all the other .txts looked like. However I tried both. The Galaxy Ranger just has the one .txt file. I have made sure that it is pointed at it in the daphne loader just like the rest of them.

I did not know about the Script. I have no idea where to put that. I didnt see that in the video from both videos here. Is there another video showing where or in written form. But I was able to find where to put the Hot Key script and that worked. Im sure it mentions the script somewhere on the forums. I must have missed it. Thanks for the help.

Is anyone experiencing issues when exiting the game in EPSXE stand alonefrom Launchbox? Basically what is happening is that when I use my exiting short cuts from my joystick a dialog window pops up and asks me "Really quit?" and wont shut off until I hit the enter button on my keyboard? Is this a known bug and is there a work around? Keyboard ESC works just fine to get me back to the launchbox window. ANy ideas here is gladly appreciated. Im using a wireless xbox one controller and latest espxe downloaded today. v.2.0.5

Can anyone help me with be the game Call of Duty 4 on the nontendo DS. I cant seem to find the controls that rotate the soldier during gameplay. IM sure their is a setting im missing in the config tabs but I cant seem to figure it out and google doesnt populate anything.

I would much rather have to check this everytime I import games instead of it being auto checked after the first time you check it. AltHough it is easier to delete the playlists through windows.

Well honestly I guess because I have the rom, I want it. Lol. And since dreamcast has a lot of kid memories associated with it, I guess it feels nastalgic in a way. Esp since it died out too quick imo. Also now that I have dreamcast working, I feel it has shown to be the best graphics-wise outside of Ps. and ps2 (since I haven't set them up yet). So I wanted to see what the nes games would look like emulating on the dreamcast. I have other reasons but there is no need to go into it. Now. With that said, I'm assuming u have no idea how to get this up and running or if it even works in a dreamcast emulator

I have a Rom called dreamNes a which I believe has more than one game on it. It runs on Demul in dreamcast emu but I can only get the first game to come up. I cannot see the other games. If I hit the B button, I see a flash of other games on it but cannot get into the select a game. Anyone have any luck with this one? If so, what are you using to get into the select a game? THX

Demul was rather annoying with the flickering when not in fullscreen 16x9. That seems to go away but with the loss of some pixels. Anyone get this without flickering sides in 4:3 mode. I feel like I'm gonna convulse every time it turns on. Lol

YAY! I tried Right after i pressed send. I got a "This controller is incompatible error" Than tried another game and it worked perfectly. Thank you

Yes, Demul was launching. Just the game wasn't loading correctly . I think it wouldn't run because the netplay was checked. I finally got Sonic to work and a few others to launch. Still tryng to be able to use a wireless controller. I don't thing Demul or DCNULL allow this.
