I am not a professional translater but I think that "priorità ai video tematici del gioco" should help an italian user to focalize attention on the word "theme" that here I have transformed in thematic (Which constitutes or concerns the theme of works).

I have discovered why I was not able to find that option In the screenshot you have attached I read "Prioritize Game Theme Video" I have italian version and when I read the same line what I read is (in italian of course) "Prioritize Game Video" I have never touched that option. I think that the translation should change, adding the word "theme" I hope can help other italian users!

Hi, I am going mad. I have searched quite everywhere but I am not able to find an answer. So I am here with an help request I'd like to show in my BigBox the game video theme and not the normal video. Game video theme is the video with some pictures moving around (I hope it is the right name, but I call in that way because that video are in theme folder) All the Big Box themes that I have tried load the normal video. I have downloaded also the FutureState Neon Deluxe that in the demo video show game video theme but trying to switch from one setting to another I am not able to show them. What I am doing wrong? thank you for your time reading

4 days ago I have made you a question "Can you please post the source of this advertisement?" You have not to take like a personal issue. If a moderator find an image that does not know he has to search on net. I have searched on tekken wiki and I am not able to find that image. I collect dozen magazines, retro - vintage and so on, and I dont remember that image. So, personally, I love official material, and I love an accurate DB. If you can help moderator with any source it'll get approved. You have to think that there are hundred images to be moderated, and there are too many check to do. I cant spend days searching that source. help moderator with a official source and I bet they/we'll be happy to accept that image.

Most of the time spent moderating is in: -waiting that server loads - looking for the source of the proposed changes on the internet I ask "is it possible to oblige in some way to insert a link or a text for the requested change?" It is terrible to have to spend 10 minutes to understand if the logo that the peson wants to label only as "north america" is also valid for europe. And also the person himself would be forced to carry out research before requesting avoidable changes.

I personally rejected this image 1 time. It's not game play, and I didnt find in tekken 2. Can you please post the source of this advertisement?

Maybe the best option is to accept all images for scummvm. Then the user'll choice the one relative to his rom. I don't think it is a good service but can help people understanding that scummvm is not a platform but it is an engine (i hihihih)

Yes, a game can be on more platform...but a SCUMMVM game from which platform comes? Maniac Mansion SCummvm is from DOS? Amiga? SNES? which front box you should accept? All? I dont agree with your point of view because I dont believe in democracy, but I can understand it. Is for that I'd add a special list like Namco Classics. Anyway, It is not a "problem" for me having a SCUMMVM platform, I'll simply not use it. But it becomes a "problem" when I have to choose a game to add like moderator. I can accept to add Maniac Mansion to Scummvm platform...but which version? Which boxes? Which screenshot? Or I'll accept everything? (and then...why to moderate it? Sorry my english

I understand that I have done a wrong question. I try to change point of view. And I make an example. I like to help moderating games DB. I start to moderate and I find a game...Maniac Mansion (it is only an example, because I dont remember all the titles, sorry). Who is adding it has chosen Scummvm like platform... But we know that Maniac Mansion is a game for: C64, Amiga, DOS, SNES ecc So, I think that it should be added to the right platform, because it is different for each platform. I have seen a request to add a Scummvm game...with front box from DOS and Amiga at the same time... I think that GAMES DB should be accurate (I have seen a lot of errors in front box of japan games for example). So, I think I have to reject the request to add, because that games is already present in DOS platform, or because there are "inappropriate" images. What do you think about this? I think it should be better to remove SCUMMVM platform and make a "special list" like CAPCOM classics or NAMCO classics named "SCUMMVM games" Or help me to handle it when I try to help moderating, please

There is a thing that I dont understand. Scummvm si not a platform. It's a software, it is an engine but it is not OS or a platform. http://scummvm.org/ So what I dont understand is...why people add Games to this "platform"? A game run under an OS, like Amiga, or DOS, or Windows..not SCUMMVM. Otherwise, dosbox should become another platform. I dont agree having Scummvm like platform.

Thank you for your reply! Seems that this plugin is more easy to use. So I can update the games with the missing media and then send them to games DB. I read that I can update metadata, like overview field. I am italian, so I'll probably change some overview to my language, copying from some magazine like Zzap! ...the question is "I do some damage if I update data changing language?" For example, I have Slimey's Mine (C64), I have the original cassette. So I can make some real scan and then add a review in italian. In gameDB this game there is not. So when I update it...I update in italian, but here all people speak in english... (I have submitted it in english for all, it's only an example for now) sorry my bad english

Hi all, I am quite new here and I am enjoying very much my Launchbox-Bigbox. I dont like to add thousand of roms, because I like to play what I add. So I take care of my few roms, adding missing cover, missing comment, missing video and so on. But I think that what I am slowly adding can be useful in the future for others. So, where to add my works? The download section seems to contain packs, and not singular media. Moreover Launchbox database is not updated with all games. How can I help to update the missing text, games or other? thank you

Y O U are GREAT!! Yes, the problem were the quotes. To use my command line I had to change the rom file name in one without blank, because with blank in name you have to use quotes before cdimage and after rom name. So changing name was a way to avoid the quotes problem! But I didnt remember that there was other paramther to change. Maybe now I can make work also the other roms! Thank you again!!!

Hi, I am using winuae in launchbox, fs-uae has saving problems that I am not able to resolve. From dos command line I write: winuae64 -f cd32.uae -s use_gui=no -cdimage=Fullpath\to\.cue and it works without problems If I insert: -f cd32.uae -s use_gui=no -cdimage= in Launchbox personal command line and I try to start my rom...it launches but load only Amiga CD 32 logo with the request of CD. So, I suppose, it loads all but it cannot find the cue file... What I am doing wrong? regards
