  1. Thanks for the fast response, I probably edited my last comment and added the second part while you were already typing it lol. I'm currently on 13.8 so I'm not sure if that is one of the problematic versions. If it is I'll go ahead and try to download an older version and see if that works for the time being.
  2. How do I enable the music? I have background music turned on and still nothing plays. If I move the music from Mini Consoles Theme>Media>BGM to LaunchBox>Music>Background>Platforms>PlatformName it works however when I click on a game and a video plays the music doesn't stop and it plays the audio of the video and the background music at the same time. I'd really like to figure out how to fix this and I'd appreciate some help. Also I like the screen that pops up showing you the console you clicked on. However I don't think it's necessary to display that screen every time you back out of clicking on a game in that platform, is there anyway to disable that?
  3. Anytime I try to add a game I get the following Root Element Missing error. So far I've tried replacing data with backups, and even removing all the files from data entirely and starting with a blank slate yet I still get the same error. I can launch and play games just fine but adding games doesn't work. App: LaunchBox Version: 11.8 Type: System.Xml.XmlException Site: Void Throw(System.Exception) Source: System.Private.Xml at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseDocumentContent() at System.Xml.XmlReader.MoveToContent() at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(XmlReader reader, Boolean denyResolving) at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(String fileName) at Unbroken.LaunchBox.Search.RomFiles.<>c__DisplayClass2_0.ResetIterableInfo(Object , Object ) at Unbroken.LaunchBox.Search.RomFiles.<>c__DisplayClass2_0.StartAbstractAdapter() at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart_Context(Object state) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart() Recent Log: 10:48:00 AM Exception
  4. I'm not sure if I'm the only person with this problem. I just recently moved Launchbox to my D drive to see if it would help anything with a fresh install after importing all my media and I figured out what broke my Launchbox in the first place. When I try to add an EBOOT.BIN file for my PS3 games I get an error root element missing. And then after that whenever I want to add a game regardless if it's a PS3 title or not I get either the same error or something like error finding metadata would you like to keep this game despite these errors and hitting yes does nothing other than giving me an infinite loading bar. Restarting does not help fix the problem at all. On my other drive I was able to fix it temporarily here and there but I was unable to update Launchbox unless done manually, I was getting crashes all the time, having to replace the metadata every time I wanted to mess with Launchbox, things like that all because I get error root element missing from adding PS3 games.
  5. Did you ever fix this? I'm having the exact same problem
  6. Great, now anytime I launch a PS2 game through launchbox, all my saves are gone. How do I fix this
  7. These are great. Are you ever going to make a PS3 Screen?
