Besides the Audit tool in something like MAMEUI? Not specifically, and I don't know if that will tell you missing games as much as just missing dependencies. If you have a recent MAME Split pack you should be good to go.

You can either use the audit function in MAMEUI(FX) (this would be the fastest option) or you can follow the tutorial and the scanner will tell you what ROMs/CHDs/Samples are exactly missing.

To be honest I tried the stuff in the post. I am not really sure what I am getting. In MAMEUIFX looks like total ROMs it knows about is 10,560 and when I click Available looks like I have 9375 So if not trying to update the ROMs but verify what missing do I skip something?

There's also an updated version of the tutorial in case you didn't have seen it: https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/emulation/how-to-update-your-mame-romset-to-a-newer-version-with-clrmamepro
