Kevin_Flynn
Hi @lordmonkus - would you be willing to share your presets? I really like the modified CRT-Lottes shader with a 4xBR layer. I just don't know how to set it up.
Lordmonkus
To use the Lottes with 4xBR you simply load in Lottes shader and then add an extra pass and for that pass load in the 4xBR. There are better options now since they have presets that achieve the same effect. In the CRT folder there is the 4xBR-hybrid-crt and 4xBR-hybrid-crt-b and in the CGP folder there is 2xbr-hybrid-crt-hyllian and 2xbr-crt-hylian. All 4 of those shaders will give you a very similar look but I mainly either use the CRT-Royale-Kurozumi preset found in the CGP folder or CRT-Easymode-Halation preset found in the CRT folder. If the Easymode-Halation has too much bloom and glow on your display try the basic CRT-Easymode.
dov_EL
After solving the problem of MAME, finding an excellent scanline effect, which does not require a powerful PC to run, now I'd like to find something similar Also on retroarch. I tried 4 or 5 shader, some were heavy, some were light but ineffective. What do you recommend for Baytrail CPU with 4: 3 monitor?
Lordmonkus
The most light weight crt scanline shader would be the CRT-Pi one in the GLSL\Crt folder. Obviously by the name you can guess that it was made for the Raspberry Pi.
dov_EL
No no , raspberry , i Have Mini PC with Windows ( Cpu Baytrail Work amazing )
Lordmonkus
Yes but there is a Crt-Pi shader which was made for the Pi so it's as light weight and fast as possible but it is available on the PC as well.

Lordmonkus
No problem, also try Crt-Aperture out. I don't how well it performs on lower end hardware but it is only a single pass shader and it has become my go to shader for looks.

Mandarynek
In RetroArch 1.6.0 I can't use CG shaders don't work anymore. I see black screen only. So I use glsl shaders now but there is no crt-royale-320px-svideo in glsl shader which I use before. Which one is the best for n64 games? Lordmonkus
I don't use any shaders with N64, I up the internal resolution since the vast majority of games are 3D polygonal.

Your choice but I miss CRT mode. Crt-royale-320px-svideo cg shader was ok for me.
Lordmonkus
I just looked and there is a gl version of the one you like.
