FBA Core in retroarch for capcom play system

I cant seem to find any bios. so i assume there arent any. I put in: -L cores\fb_alpha_cps1_libretro.dll i check no special boxes. i get a boot ups screen and then i get a retroarch has stopped working thing.

There are BIOS for everything related to MAME, there are over 30 different unique BIOS for variations of systems. Look for MAME packs.

What you typed is missing the quotes -L "cores\fb_alpha_cps1.liberetro.dll". Don't know if what you have in LB has them or not but if they are missing that will be the issue.

The quotes shouldn't matter because it's an absolute path and not a relative path, shouldn't at least. I add them anyways.

You may need the qsound files for the CPS games.

You should look into CLRMamePro for managing your roms for arcade variants. It is very difficult to get all the required files for the exact version of FBA you are using and CLRMamePro will help you find out what is missing. It is not the easiest program to figure out if you have not used it before, but it is well worth spending the time to figure out how to use it.
