I'm not the one who scanned it, but I presume it's something to do with the shiny metallic clear logo or something. It looks way closer to the original colour now. Here's a fairly accurate looking photo of the box

Apologies for derailing the thread... I just put the full scan here in case you wanted to grab the clear logo when I noticed you had done the title screen one. Thank you for all the work you (and the rest of the contributors) have done here.

OK, so I've been going through the database and adding better cover scans (and finding some that don't need updated), but they could use some fancy clear logos to go along with them

Alfaim is on both the x68000 and PC-9801 with identical logos.

Aggregate is only on the PC-9801

Alvaleak Boukenki is only on PC-9801
