I created and give a try for the

clear logo for this game a while ago,

but the quality doesn't quite measure up.

I would be grateful if launchretrogirl2562 or someone else could help me with it.

thanks

TIP : U could have very easily done this by using https://www.pixelcut.ai

Just upscale it x2, then remove the background. Clean it up a bit.
U would be left with a very ugly image with ugly borders. (see below first image - I downscaled it to save bandwith)
Open it in GIMP, use the contrast tool (Tools -> Brightness/contrast)...then slide the contrast slider all the way up.

before contrast

after contrast

Of course,...edges (and colors) then are still not OK, but u can also fix that with FILTERS -> Gaussian Blur (somewhere between 1-2)
Then a threshold (color -> treshold)...and use the slider until the edges get sharper.

We aren't done yet, when the edges are clearer, your black outline would have slowly disappeared.
But that is easily fixed, depending on how the outline looks like. If it's just an outline, there are online tools for that.
If it is an actual drop shadow of the exact same letters...just duplicate the image, use a colorize tool (Colors->Colorize) to make it completely black...and then move it till the drop shadow matches the original. (or increase the size of the layer if the edges need to be larger than the original text)

Mind u, this above is explained in a very very short manner and is the 'make it usable in shortest amount of time', but there are many roads u can take to get to the same results, some will be better looking, while others will be' good enough' to use. 🙃
Anyway, most stuff can be done with minimal effort, but it always takes some time.
