Go into your Project64 install folder, then into the "Config" folder and look for the file "Project64.cfg".

Open it in notepad or any other text editor you want and look for:

[Support Project64]
Run Count=

and change whatever number is there to
-1

It should now look like this:

[Support Project64]
Run Count=-1

Save the file and nag screen is gone.

Hmm

Well I would never see it anyways because I run it through LB because in the settings I turned off "Use ROM browser" in the  ROM selection section and the Options section  turn on "Enter full-screen mode when loading a ROM"

Thanks Lordmonkus  I'm happy to support good software but the strong arm tack-tics of Project64 asking/begging for money when you just started using it is too much and also very irritating.

Such a beautiful piece of software that was coded, works great and seemed to overlook something so simple?

This works, thank you and I do plan on contributing to the author.

This isn't working for me, could the code have changed too much since this topic was brought up in 2016? I'm seeing an extra line now-

[Support Project64]
Experiment Version=2
Run Count=-1

Thank you!

Thank you!

I changed the "-1" to "-2" out of curiosity and it worked like a charm. It's really that simple.

For anyone that wants to stop this nuisance in 2022, open project64 then close the window quick, then open project64 again, that stopped the nag screen from popping up for me.

If it doesn't work, you need to use the latest development version for project64.
