New Micro pc Will it play ps2 roms

Hi I need a bit of help please, I just bought a new micro pc and its running ps2 games in slow motion. Ive messed with emulator settings but still no change

is this enough power to run them?

Atom processor will not handle PS2 games. I get performance issues with some Nintendo 64 games on my 3 Atom systems even though that z8300 in probably new than my chips I still am very doubtful that you could push PS2 off of it.

EVen if your Atom could, it's still integrated, which means it wont do as much as you are hoping for.

Can anyone suggest a micro pc that would be capable of running ps2 and wii roms???

You'd be very hard pressed to find one honestly. The farther up you go, the more powerful a PC you're gonna need, and micro PC's are just not gonna really offer that kind of power. @DOS76 please correct me if I am wrong since you've been using these for a while, but you're not gonna have the power there simply put. Most are integrated graphics and that alone can be the stoppage to wanting to play PCSX2 and Dolphin. So unless you have a stupid expensive and powerful Micro PC, that happens to check off all the boxes, then I am unsure you're gonna get up there in that form factor.

Anything with a fast CPU, preferably 4.0 GHz or higher. Now it doesn't have to be that fast but for PS2 emulation you will get better results, it's a demanding emulator.

You wont need a GPU to run those emulators in software mode at native resolution but you will need to CPU to run them at all.

There are some GigaBrix (I think) with i7's and even with the integrated it will probably be able to push it.
