angelobodetti Posted December 22, 2016 Share Posted December 22, 2016 for some reason MAME never remembers my coin or start settings so I need to re=do it every time i play a game. This is obviously frustrating. I even tried changing the cfg file to a read only but it didn't seem to work. Anyway, RetroArch never has issues with my controllers. Does anyone know where I can find an older MAME core for RA? My romset is .173 Does the MAME RA core work as well as the standalone MAME program? Thank you! Charco Posted December 22, 2016 Share Posted December 22, 2016 You could use the latest MAME RA core and try your existing romset. Most roms should work, the ones that don't you will need to update. I would just update your romset to the latest version though. It's probably easier than finding an old working MAME RA core, it's been in bad shape for a while.
