neil9000
That's one word for it!!!
SentaiBrad
This is exactly why they tried really hard to not be linked to those box re-sellers.
neil9000
Yep, nothing they do themselves is dodgy, so its really weird to see that. Libreelec is still up also.
Lordmonkus
Maybe Kodi was doing something behind the scenes that was not above board.
SentaiBrad
That's my first guess, but I honestly would doubt it. They were fighting really hard (it seemed) against those resellers. They should be targeted, but they make it look like they're affiliated and no one knows where to swing their big stick at. So they swung at the name they saw. SentaiBrad
There's supposedly a link hidden in here, in the code, to a Rick Roll.. and / or they were hacked.
neil9000
Well lets hope that is all it is. Still serious, just not as much. I don't have a account there so id be OK.

neil9000
That's good to know. I'm running a windows defender scan just to be safe though.
SentaiBrad
Even if they were hacked, there's no viruses.
neil9000
Well I have not run a scan for about a year, so I'm due one.

neil9000
Doesn't say anything about it on twitter that I can see. If it is a joke, its not a funny one.

massticles
Yeah, but a few different companies are already jumping the gun early. Even newegg did with their 9 monitor laptop (lol) Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
neil9000
Still if it is a April fool, then I think its a bit silly from a organization trying to distance themselves from piracy, to pretend that they have been taken offline because of piracy infringement, or is that just me?
SentaiBrad
If this is an April Fools joke, it's done in extremely poor taste given the issues Front End communities face, given the issues they have with resellers. I am leaning (hoping) more towards the hacked side, because at least then it's a bad joke someone else made.
