FoxyMonty
This is a guide on how to import Blizzard Games into LaunchBox correctly. Aim If logged into Battle.net/Blizzard app, clicking on a game will immediately launch the game. This will avoid the situation where you click on a game and the Battle.net/Blizzard app opens and waits for you to select a game. Let's get started: First of all, we need to create shortcuts that bypass the launcher for each game. Navigate to the location of your Battle.net client. e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net" Right-click on the shortcut titled "Battle.net" and select "create shortcut" Right-click on the newly created shortcut and click "Properties" Select the "Target" field, leaving all the text the same we want to add an additional line to the end. Add a space and then copy and paste the exact text, quotes to, for your specified game. Blizzard Diablo 3 --exec="launch D3" Hearthstone --exec="launch WTCG" Heroes of the Storm --exec="launch Hero" Overwatch --exec="launch Pro" StarCraft --exec="launch S1" StarCraft 2 --exec="launch S2" Warcraft III: Reforged --exec="launch W3" World of WarCraft --exec="launch WoW" World of WarCraft Classic --exec="launch wow_classic" ----------------------------------------------------------------- Diablo 3 Public Test Realm --exec="launch d3t" Heroes of the Storm Public Test Realm --exec="launch herot" Overwatch Public Test Realm --exec="launch prot" World of WarCraft Public Test Realm --exec="launch wowt" ----------------------------------------------------------------- Activision Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 --exec="launch VIPR" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) --exec="launch ODIN" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered --exec="launch LAZR" Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War --exec="launch ZEUS" Select the "General" tab and rename the shortcut to the appropriate title for the game. Repeat this process for all games that you want. To keep things organised, you can move all the shortcuts into a folder inside your LaunchBox directory where you think is best. Once all the shortcuts you want have been created, we can open up LaunchBox. Select all the shortcuts you want to import and drag and drop them into the main LaunchBox game panel, this will begin the import wizard. For "What type of game files are you importing" select "None of the Above". For "What platform are you importing games for" select "Windows". Continue following the import wizard, choosing your desired settings. Your games should have been imported successfully into the Windows Platform. --- Other Commands ---- Opens or switches to Game tab --exec="focus play" Opens or switches to Shop tab --exec="focus shop" Opens or switches to Social tab --exec="focus social" Opens or switches to News tab --exec="focus news" Opens Friends window --exec="dialog friends" Opens Launcher and goes to Settings window --exec="dialog settings" Edited February 26, 2021 by FoxyMonty 5

I believe it launches to a character select screen but then you might need to select things. If you find an answer, I'd be interested to hear it. Retronomicon
So, I've followed the guide and what I'm seeing is launchbox changes the tab in battlenet to the appropriate game in the background, but I have to bring up battlenet to actually launch the game still. Am I biffing a step somewhere? Fwiw, the two games I've added are Overwatch and Destiny 2 (battlenet://DST2/) Edited September 10, 2018 by Retronomicon

FoxyMonty
@Retronomicon @RottenRotz Apologies, I only just came across your messages. It seems Blizzard made some changes and the old process stopped working. Luckily I found a new solution and have updated the guide to match this. If you still run into any issues, please let me know

If you aren't then the login box will appear and after logging you in, it will display the page of the game in the launcher.

FoxyMonty
That is very strange, I just checked with Starcraft Remastered since I don't have that game and the command is correct. Everything looks completely right to me, all I can say is try right-clicking on battle.net and send to desktop to create a shortcut and then add the command in and adjust the name of the shortcut to the game. I'm unsure what would be causing the issue.
SubRetro
Was going to set this up into LB/BB and put it into steam then run steamlink. Will test it this weekend and see. At least for games like Destiny 2 anyway.

dannyg86
This no longer seems to work. It just results in the blizzard launcher opening to the games page.
