Default image if no image available for game

Hi,

Is there a way to specify a default image if no image is found for a game? For example say I had many ZX Spectrum games without artwork, I could chose a picture of the ZX Spectrum or its box rather than have the default cube logo. I know you can select gameplay etc to be displayed for each game as the box front but I would like a default image for games with no artwork at all.

Not right now but it is on the "Small Things" list so maybe it will get added.

Cool, I'm glad it's on the list. I do think it is a good thing that having no default can encourage people to contribute to the database though..

Just be aware that just because it's on that list it doesn't mean that it will make it in. @Jason Carr has made it clear that there are items on the list that are not so simple to add in and he has to prioritize.

But being on the list gives it a better chance than not being on the list, lol.

That's cool, now I see the scope of launchbox along with its dosbox integration etc I can see how complicated it really is.

This would be a great feature. I don't buy the argument that it encourages users to add to the database - as for many early DOS games, no boxart exists and an image of the disc or something is used instead. Hassle to go through 3000+ games doing this - would be good to specify a default "missing" image for each system.
