knightCrawler Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I been away for awhile and amany emulators where working correctly with my system now I moved my directories and updated to the newest launchbox 7.12 and now I get an Error that says" The rom file you specified does not exist" so I open the emulator directly and I can run the game!!! I'm not sure why this keeps happening.. any help with settings will be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks If you have changed your directory's then you need to tell launchbox the new locations as it will be looking at the old ones.
knightCrawler Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 Yes that is done..I changed all the directories as it should.. It was also happening wit MAME but that was corrected!!! I fixed by following the tutorial for setting up mame but it did not worked for console games.

DOS76 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Yes but is that the path that your games are actually in, If so go to browse choose the rom again and see if it works afterwards. If not you will have to do some editing to correct the paths. 1
knightCrawler Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 It does not work I scan the rom path 3 time already.. I'm suspecting is the way launchbox launches the games.. All was well on previous versions.
DOS76 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I didn't ask you to scan I asked you to edit a game and while in the edit window go to browse and click the rom name again to see if it changes anything but at this point I have no clue maybe someone else will be able to assist you better.

knightCrawler Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 I've reinstall launchbox and looks like is working.. I think windows security setting might be breaking the updates so I install 7.12 as a clean install, now I'm moving the most time consuming folders containing videos images manuals and all that is big which was downloaded from emumovies. I refuse to re-download months of work if there is no necessity. Hope this thread help someone with similar issues.
