import of mame roms not that good

just tryed mame as emu and it still dont import time crisis.

wot setings do u tick a pic would be good if u can thanks this is really anoying about time crisis god knows wot other games aint been impoeted.

I just leave everything at the defaults.

What are you calling the platform?

yep done that but time crisis does not import but when you click next in ur pic and u get the list of roms that it is gonna import time crisis is in the list but does not show when its finished. platform is arcade thats wots in the list.

Are you having launchbox create the playlists also? Time Crisis should be in the "Namco Classics" playlists if you are.

no i dont want a play list cus got that meny platforms get confusing lol.

If you open the arcade.xml with notepad++ and search for Time Crisis does it find it?

Do you by chance have the box checked for "Combine roms with matching titles into a single game" checked and for some strange reason it is maybe combining it with a game with a close to or similar name? I have had Launchbox make an odd mistake like that before on a matching name import. That may be a shot in the dark but worth asking.

i have the same settings that are in ur pic. and the combine roms in unchecked. its do in my head in god knows wot other rom have not been imported. but out of the mame set 193 it only says when u run launchbox and select arcade it says at bottom 2986 roms.

Hang on a second, you already have it imported to a platform?? That's why its not importing its already imported.

I do not think it will import it twice if you already have it.

i deleted the arcade system/platform and did a fresh.

Correct, it's already imported. You will need to check the box in the import wizard to force import duplicate games.
