SteamLauncher

[wiesshund]

Well, sadly i have not found anyone who can actually code with any interest in this.
I tried but literally dont really know what i am doing.

I know it can be done because it sort of does what steam rom manager does, except on a one time basis, with the additional command to launch the non steam app it just created.

As for the why would this be used that one of the devs asked?

Steam friends can message you and you message them back, while in the emulators
you can do screen shots, send them screen shots
pop open steam's browser, in game to look up a game hint
stream your gameplay or allow friends to watch.
Your friends can see exactly what you are playing, Duck Hunt (Mesen), Galaga (MAME) etc
