why not automatically download emulators?

Well retroarch can already go anywhere you want to put it, that's not the issue, the issue is not being able to read the users mind and automatically no which cores to use. So there will always need to be some form of input from the user.

honestly... most people will use whatever core is pre loaded.... but if lauchbox knew where the retroarch.exe was... where the core.dll was.... that's the part that confuses people... and where to put the roms... prebuilt rom folders would tell them that...

then the instructions would be really simple

1. download lauchbox

2. download retorarch and put here.....

3. open retroarch and download all cores

4 download roms and put here.....

5. open launchbox and press "RA" button to configure

6. play....

It already does know.

Irrelevant to Launchbox.

It doesn't matter.

No different from how it is now already.

Locking this thread now.
