Lordmonkus
I just did an update of my Retroarch cores recently and noticed 2 significant problems. Problem #1 was my Saturn emulation went to complete shit in terms of performance, I went from a solid 60 fps down to 50. Problem #2 was the Playstation game Gaia Seed: Project Seed Trap stopped working. Luckily I still had an old Retroarch install folder with older cores so I just copied those 2 cores over and both issues fixed instantly. bundangdon
Wow! I wish I had thought of this before. Now I just tried Daytona USA with the latest Mednafen Saturn core and it's noticeably slower and stuttering. Don't have the older cores any longer though. Oops! Charco
I wonder what the issue is? I guess it'll be fixed in a nightly build soon.

Something similar happened a while back with the Wonderswan core. A member posted a few games no longer worked. Thankfully I had not updated and was able to test the prior core still worked. So now before I update any cores I will back up the core folder.
