Command-line issue with mesen

Currently considered as the best NES emulator by many, mesen command-line options do not work (loading roms) if you have default command-line parameters before the rom path.

Please allow us to put the command-line parameters AFTER the rom path.

Yeah, but that's not my preferred way of emulating NES.

Have you tried using the LaunchBox variable %romfile% and placing the emulator's own parameters after it?

Put this as your command line parameter:

%romfile% -fullscreen

FYI, this is a bug in Mesen 0.9.5 specifically - it's fixed in the latest code, but there hasn't been any release with the fix yet.

Easy enough to work around for now but good to know it's something you will be fixing @Sour, you the man.
