Retroarch continues to run in the background on exit game

Not sure if this is a bug. I've noticed that if I run a game in LB Next via Retroarch then quit the game, it returns to LB with Retroarch nowhere to be seen - but it is still running in the process list. If I play a few games this way then multiple instances of Retroarch remains running and the CPU load quickly goes up.

Are you using controller automation in LB.Next or exiting RA using hotkeys in RA itself?

I have been exiting RA by opening the RA menu (F1) then hitting escape.

How about if you go to the RA menu and choose Quit RetroArch? You may have a conflict where the Esc key is assigned via controller automation in LB and also exit in RA.

Does controller automation now work in next last I had heard it did not. Sounds like more of RA issue than LB but I'm assuming it closes normally in regular LB and BB?
