flatuswalrus Posted May 31, 2018 Share Posted May 31, 2018 There has been multiple sci-fi films and shows throughout the years depicting extraterrestrial beings that spew digestive type juices onto people which can eat through pretty much anything like Kevlar Armour or steel. Why then in these shows and films do they not make and wear some sort of full body suit made out of corn? The structural integrity of the corn kernel or cellulose husk is not compromised by gastric juice or stomach acid so if they made a suit out of it they would be protected. Most sci-fi settings are in the future where they have highly advanced technology but no one has ever tried making a suit of corn? Seems ridiculous to me, thoughts?
