DOS76
The plan is to actually merge all Arcade systems together so you won't see anymore added.

That would certainly uncomplicate a lot for scraping and working with/for media of arcade systems. Even though I like to be able to see or sort by arcade system names, maybe a new info field for this could be an alternative to help sorting these in playlists, although I have no idea how complicated this would be for you guys to realize or if theres a better way. I actually really, really hate this idea. That's like smashing all consoles together as one platform.

Different arcade boards are indeed platforms. Proof is in the pudding: CPS 1, CPS 2, CPS 3, Examu, Taito, RingEdge, etc are all listed as seperate platforms because of their boards. They each require different programming language and aren’t cross compatible. To say they aren’t platforms is to say different consoles aren’t different platforms either. They are equally distinct in exactly the same ways.
Nester85
We need new platform for the old LCD Tiger Electronic Handhelds. It seems a few games are grouped under Nintendo Game & Watch. However, Nintendo has nothing to do with these games.
