Strubdog
Help, I'm trying to set up the The Sega Model 2 Emulalator first and then I'll import it in Launchbox. I have setup the config file to find my roms: I then try to run my test rom (In this case, Dead or Alive). I get the following screen: I have tried both the multicpu and regular exe files. Thanks
proghodet
At line 9 in your config, try throwing double-quotes around your filepath, such as this: "C:\users\timot\LaunchBox\Games\Sega Model 2". It needs those quotes to properly interpret a filepath with spaces in it.
Strubdog
Just tried that, I get the same result.
proghodet
The rom-files are zipped, yes? Edited February 2, 2019 by proghodet
Retro808
Should not take much to get it running. Unless you have bad roms. If your roms are zipped like @proghodet asked check to see the files it says are missing are contained. Really just as simple as pointing to the rom directory. It should work without quotes for the rom location. Did you try other games and get the same errors?
Strubdog
Looks like it was bad rom file.
Demonscythe
I'm having the same problem. I had it running perfectly, but had to reinstall Windows. Now the emulator keeps telling me "There are missing files. Load aborted" I've tried re-downloading the emulator and the ROMs, but I'm still getting the same problem. I don't understand what has changed.
blevinshousehold
I recently had this same issue. I found that if I ran the Configurator.exe that came with the package I downloaded from archive.org (link here unless it is disallowed: I assigned the LB Games directory I assigned to these ROMs, clicked Save, then relaunched LB, it worked after that. Hope this helps.

ADarkBard
This helped me a great deal. I've been banging my head against this wall for a couple months now. It worked on my old PC but not my new. I never thought about the extra DirectX files.
