zombiejunkie
So just updated to 10.3 and now my controllers don't work with big box... Using X-Arcade tank stick as X360 controllers. They work fine in game, but will not controll big box. Using WIndows 7. Anyone else having this issue? Can I downgrade to 10.2? That worked perfectly. Jason Carr
Hi zombie, try going to your controller settings. Does it work to map things under controller mappings? What does the Tankstick show up as in the controller settings?
Retro808
@zombiejunkie Is your X-arcade an older version or one of the newer ones with the tri-mode board? I use the trimode board and have no issues in 10.3 in either normal keyboard mode or in xinput mode. Or is yours and older version and you are using software to replicate the xbox controls? Are they reset back to defaults after you restart Big Box? What do you mean by not saving? Do they work in LaunchBox?
Nickkt
They are resetting to whatever they were before I changed them immediately after I press back. Somehow I have select and change view both on button one but they will not save any changes I make 1 minute ago, Jason Carr said: Can you explain? You can try resetting it by deleting the LaunchBox\Data\InputBindings.xml file. That should reset it to what it was before the update. If that doesn't work, you can actually modify that file in a text editor if you need to.

Can confirm this works, my controller was not being recognised at all even in the mapping window in the options. Using DS4Windows, deleting the inputbindings and launching Lauchbox and the controller is working perfectly again. Thanks!
WillyT
My 360 controller also doesn't work for the BigBox or the Launchbox stage - works as it did before in all of the games - just can't navigate the front-end. Any solutions so far?

So you're saying that your controller isn't working in Retroarch. What controller are you using? Can you try starting Retroarch without LaunchBox or Big Box loaded to see if it's actually LaunchBox affecting it?

Hmm, well I'm glad it's working. I really don't understand why that would fix the issue though.
Jason Carr
Hey all, I have a new 10.5 beta out to address an issue with controllers not working properly on Windows 7. Details are here: If this confirms to fix everyone's issues, I'll put an official release out later tonight.
WillyT
The beta did the job. Thanks for yourtime and effort!
