Top 100 Playlist

Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to create your own top 100 games playlist, not from a most played list but just a 1-100 list manually if necessary. Would I just have to put number 1 in first and then just keep adding them in order or is there an easier way?

when you edit a game one of the tabs gives you the ability to add a sort title to the game which I don't know will come in handy with playlist or not you could always add the numbers there so you don't have to change the games titles but that will also alter how you game sorts in the platform view so it probably isn't a viable solution just thought I'd bring it up

You could probably try to make a playlist using a custom field as the parameter.

If you right click and edit a game there is a tab for "Custom Fields". You could create a field called "Top 100" and then in the Value field populate each game 1 to 100. Then create a new Playlist. Choose the Auto-Populate option and in the dropdown list you should see the name of the custom field you created it. Choose it and then set a comparison option. I am not sure which comparison option will work best you will have to test and see.

I was just looking for a way to do this too without having to manually rename any entries, so that they would show in the playlist starting with a number and sorted by number. For instance if I wanted to make a top 100 NES games from a list like the following website: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/916386-nes/51440644

I am able to manually add the games and change the order in the playlist per the tab here:

1. Super Mario Bros 3
2. The Legend of Zelda
3. Super Mario Bros.
4. Punch Out!

I am guessing this is by design, but is it possible to have a prefix of a number before each game in a playlist when desired, without renaming the ROM itself? Like an option to edit the title in a playlist, that does not affect the source ROM name?
