Unexpected error when updating metadata

Hey everyone,

I've recently been getting this error when trying to update the metadata and media for my games. It happens when I try updating multiple games at the same time. I can successfully update 1, 2 and even up to 200 games, but when I try updating more than 1000 games at the same time, Launchbox gets stuck at "Finishing up".

I'm not sure, but this problem seems to happen mostly when I get download errors and I choose the option "keep the updated metadata despite these errors".

I'm sorry, but the error message is in German. I think the headline translates to "not enough quota available to  process this command", but I'm not sure what that means:

Nicht genügend Quoten verfügbar, um diesen Befehl zu verarbeiten

I have the same issue. It really is frustrating because it happens when I download a lot of media. Launchbox throw this error and began using my CPU at about 90% but the program is frozen.

I don't know what's going on during the "Finishing up" process. The error looks like it has something to do with Music... Hopefully it doesn't look like I've lost my images, videos, manuals but there's no way for me to make sure that everything is ok since the process doesn't exit gracefully.

Your stack trace doesn't have any LaunchBox calls. Typically I see this when a Windows Update hasn't been applied or the .NET framework installed is the wrong version or corrupted. I would make sure you don't have any pending Windows Update and rerun the .NET framework install.

Might not be super helpful, but I do get this problem everytime I update my collection. It's a larger collection so it takes awhile, when I come back to it a few hours later it usually asks if I want to confirm the update if there are any errors. Once I say yes, but it goes to "Finishing Up", and then Launchbox inevitably stops working. Is it a longer process if the collection is large? I'm not sure if it's still working in the background.

just had the same issue more or less.  updated collection, confirmed errors, went to finishing up.  Four hours later it was "finishing up" still.  Checked task manager, barely any cpu usage, no hard disk activity, seemingly was hung.  No idea if i corrupted any thing at this point but I closed it.
