SonicFan53 Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 I think romcenter is a frontend, unlike retroarch. Romcenter comes with emulators. Yabause, Dolphin, and more. Retroarch uses cores. Quote

Retroarch itself just acts as the universal GUI for the cores / emulators and it also handles all the input and sound. In this instance core and emulator are the exact same thing. Relak Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 Yes, I use retroarch for émulation. Romcenter sort, repair or delete romset. In fact I would like To Check a full set rom automatically. Quote

My guess: Romcenter allows playing games directly and you want to use have it use Retroarch directly from there? Edited February 21, 2020 by Headrush69 Quote
Retro808 Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Based on what it says RomCenter does I think he is wanting to use it to confirm his roms are supported by Retroarch/Cores. Quote

Retroarch github has dat files but they are more useful for using the internal Retroarch database, not necessarily for what works. Retroarch DAT files Quote
