You mention that you moved just the cue files for PS1, but that will not work.

cue files point to the location of the data file (bin, iso, etc), so that reference would no longer be valid.

Generally, most cues will be set to the same folder to find the data portion, so they need to be kept together.

Also, you can have games in individual folders, when imported they will work fine, but if you move the folder using the Manage Platform option, you can run into issues that LB no longer points to the right file any longer. Best and safest option is to keep cue/ISO’s all in a PS1 folder together.

Thats not true at all, you have had plenty of support here. We ask you questions to help us troubleshoot your issues, which you skirt around in your replys but not really providing the actual information asked for, or simply ignore the questions completely. You then proceed to make another thread about the same issue and the whole cycle starts again.

There are only two paid employees here for Launchbox Jason and Christian, who are the devs and spend most of there time coding, and occasionally pop into the forums. All the moderators and other users here are just that, other users. The moderators in particular are not compensated in any way for the support we provide on the forums, we do it because we love the product and enjoy the community around it.

However we all have family and jobs, and do this in our spare time, so users just "expecting" every single post they make is going to get a response is asking a lot, moderators and users are under no obligation to answer any of the posts/threads on these forums, we do so however out of love for the program, in our spare time, when we can.

I meant 2 months later as in after I spent 2 months setting up 1000's of games, organizing all their details correct & getting the missing artwork for, not 2 months with no help on here. I didn't really test any of the platforms until after I organized everything

And I really have no idea what you mean as far as "skirting around" AFAIK I answered everything I was asked of & took screenshots you asked me to as well. It just seemed like I was given a couple suggestions here & there , but no follow ups

It just got incredibly frustrating after spending all that time I did setting everything up, all excited to finally get everything up & running,  then for weeks not be able to play the majority of those games. I thought the forums were pretty much considered the official support for Launchbox , but OK, forgive me, it appears I'm wrong. You should understand then how under that impression things greatly stressed me out getting nowhere with my issues on here until now. You did try to help me at one point & I do appreciate that, and I totally understand you have alot more going on in life then trying to walk someone through problems with video game emulation

Yea I thought most likely I would still need the .bin files in same folder, it just seemed to not be able to recognize the games if they were in their own seperate folders, which it did initially

But what you're saying makes sense, I believe after I renamed the platform & tried to chnage the folder is when things got screwed up. I started right clicking each game in the PS1 list & manually selecting the game's subfolder. That seems to work, but very tedious. Next time I guess I'll copy all files together in 1 folder if I have any problemsin future. Thanks

THIS is the proper moderator response.  Why is DOS76 such a dick?  Not just on that post either...

lol I'm the guy who helped him and got his shit running but I'm the dick. Why because I called him out for acting entitled. You got a lot of nerve I help a lot of people here and I think more people would say you are being a dick then to call me one.
