00aedwards
Hi all, Recently bought a logitech g29, working perfectly with my emulators etc. However when in bigbox the selection wheel of emulators constantly turns. I can stop this by half pressing on the pedels of the steering wheel. But surely thats not right? Anybody else had this? Anyway to resolve this? TIA

I can stop this by half pressing on the pedels of the steering wheel. But surely thats not right? Anybody else had this? Anyway to resolve this? TIA I own a Thrustmaster wheel, not a Logitech wheel so I can't give you exact advice. However I can give some insight. Maybe a Logitech owner can chime in. The pedals register as analog axis with a range from positive to neutral (0) to negative. Because the pedals use the entire range of an axis, this gives more control and precision. A pedal in a fully upright position registers as being fully pressed on a positive or negative axis and a pedal halve way pressed registers as halve way between the max positive and negative range, so it is neutral or 0. In the Thrustmaster control panel there is an option to "combine" pedals. This maps the throttle to the positive Y-axis and the brake to the negative Y-axis. This has the result that when both pedals are not pressed (upright) they register as neutral, but you will loose halve of the range of an entire axis. Thrustmaster does not have profiler software where you can make settings on a per game basis, but it is my understanding that Logitech does. Maybe you can make a profile for BigBox. For my Thrustmaster wheel I came up with a different solution. I use a keymapper (antimicro) and made a profile for my Thrustmaster wheel. Antimicro has an option to set the range of an analog axis. When I select "negative throttle" for an axis, this makes the pedal register as not being pressed while keeping the entire negative and positive range of an axis. Again, I can't help you directly and I hope my ramblings make any sense, but maybe you have an direction to look for.
Retro808
Try checking the box to combine pedals in the Logitech software. It has helped other users who had this issue.
00aedwards
Yes, I have seen this setting you are referring to. I'll give that a go. It makes sense. Thank you both. Much appreciated.

00aedwards
So later found that combing the pedals fixed the issue in big box. But the lost functionality in certain games ie MKDX. I couldnt brake for example. So had to revert back and un combined pedal settings. Any other solutions for this?

neil9000
The ghub sofware lets you associate profiles with .exe's.

Maybe I missed something last time. But essentially your saying I can combine the pedals just for the bigbox application? And not for the teknoparrot application. neil9000
Just now, 00aedwards said: Okay thanks ill give this another go. Maybe I missed something last time. Yes, have the pedals combined for the Bigbox.exe, but standard for the teknoparrot.exe. Then when teknoparrot is launched that profile should override the Bigbox one. I have a logitech g29 and am about to install Launch Box and will want to be able to navigate big box using my g29 and am just curious if an update or work around has been discovered. Thank you
