Add an additional version for each table, choosing future pinball as emulator I guess? Maybe there is a bulk edit method to it instead of doing one table at a time, thats what I was wondering. They are separate platforms. For FP you import the *.FPT tables from the Future Pinball\Tables directory. For VPX you import *.vpx tables from the Visual Pinball\Tables directory. You can import in bulk via Tools, Import, ROMs, and selecting files. Then go to tables directory via Add Files button. It will bring up normal Windows Explorer box with a Search window and then type in *.vpx and will search for all inclusive of those in sub folders. Then select and LB will import those. Similar with FPT tables and FP. Edit: and for one offs you can simply drag the VPX or FPT table into the platform in LB and it will start the auto import process. Well, technically it's the same table with two different emulators/filetypes. But I guess the graphical appearance is quite different, so it's probably best to separate them. As each app entry you could select a specific emulator (e.g., VPX, FP) with one master entry for say "Attack from Mars". In essence, that is how the LB DB is setup with all things jammed into the Pinball category and not broken up by emulator type. However, not sure how useful that would be though for a Big Box view and/or cab setup if all additional apps vs separate entries under platform. In LB can right click easily enough to select. Basically a preference/org thing. But if doing anything with lots of tables I think not separating by platform (i.e., VPX, FP) would get cumbersome to manage as well as you cannot do media specific to that table/platform (the limitation with the LB DB for Pinball). Here are screen shots of Attack from Mars as example: Pinball FX Future Pinball (francisco666 version) with backglass (FP has built in backglass media): Visual Pinball (jpsalas version) with B2S backglass: Edited January 26 by sundogak typos
dws723
I've come across a bit of an issue with BigBox and Visual Pinball I didn't know if anyone could help. A handful of tables (so far I've noticed Family Guy, Monday Night Football, King Kong) just load the DMD and then a black screen when launching from BB. The table loads (I can see it when I ALT+TAB), but I can't get it to display in the foreground. All I get is a black screen. The credit and start buttons work, but there's no table. To quit the emulator I have to ALT+TAB and click the X. When I launch from LB everything is perfect, no issues. One time in the trouble shooting with these tables, BB did launch the tables in the foreground, but then the DMD was in the background and wouldn't stay on the table. Also, potentially important (potentially not), once I load a table that has this BB glitch, BB doesn't work properly until I quit out of it. For example if I load Family Guy, get the glitch, quit it, and then go to a random N64 game and choose "Show Image Folder" or "Open Emulator" the same issue happens, where BB blocks the window from appearing. It's open in ALT+TAB but I can't view anything but the BB screen. This is super specific but I'm really at a loss. I deleted the Settings in the Data folder but that didn't work. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Disable game Startup Screens. In LaunchBox, edit the emulator and uncheck the box Enable Game Startup Screen. There're also options in BigBox. I had done it for FP but completely forgot about it for VPX, and I would've never done this or figured it out. You really bailed me out I was so disappointed in all of this, thank you again.

Those do not look like ROMs. ROMs should all be .zip files. Note that ROMs and tables (table file(s)) are 2 separate things.
