Unable to login to Emumovies with Launchbox

Using Launchbox for Windows version 13.11.

I'm unable to login to Emumovies from Launchbox. I can log into the Emumovies website and FTP, and their site indicates all servers are up and online, but if I try to login from Launchbox (either while importing a rom or through the Options -> Integration -> Emumovies) I get the error that it can't connect.

When connecting via FTP (FileZilla) I did get a notice to update the saved certificate, so I'm not sure if that's the issue.

Same issue here.

I can log into Emumovies web and ftp, but Launchbox refused to connect.

I can't login also via Launchbox. Everything works fine in EmuMovies Sync and the website.

There is something wrong withe the LB-EmuMovies API.

Until now the problem persists. Obviously it is a problem in the lb api with emumovies.

It comes up for me periodically as well. Where it didn't years ago. Working on a new build and dealing with this constantly. Usually for me a quick PC reboot will do the trick.

HAving this problem again. worked yesterday fine. took a nap and now its not working again. emumovies sync works! the website works! launchbox is not !!!!!!

Another report here. Worked yesterday, not working today. A reboot did not fix the issue. I've confirmed I can log into the EmuMovies website.

I looked into this and my good creds are returning as invalid from their API. This is something @circo and team will have to fix as far as I can tell. @circo feel free to PM me with any tech details you may need.

I did a fresh install today and now I'm unable to log in to Emumovies via Launchbox. Glad I found this post I thought I was going mad 😜

Yep, EMU log on not working through LB, log on OK through EMUmovie site

It was a glitch in the authorization system this morning.  It’s fixed, sorry about that.

@circo Do we know if this glitch is happening again?  I am unable to log into EmuMovies this afternoon via LaunchBox but it has been working fine the last few days.  I am able to log into EmuMovies via the web site without issue and it is only through LaunchBox am I having the problem.  Thanks!

Same here. It authenticated during the test yesterday when I was setting up my new PC, but not today. FTP and web working normally.

This is a weird one, just checked and it seems to be working fine.  I show about 80 users currently logged in through launchbox.  I'll keep digging and please feel free to put a support ticket in at emumovies since this is not a global issue. It's possible there is just an outage somewhere in between the server and the end user. 

Edit did some further testing from home, added a system in launchbox, set EmuMovies as the only media to scrape, and everything worked just fine.  So please if you are for some reason having an issue please submit a ticket and we will try to see what the problem you are having is.

It started working again just before you posted that it seemed to be OK.  I checked using the test button before I left to go grocery shopping and it worked and I figured something was done to fix it and I didn’t have time to post that it was working again.  Maybe it is intermittent?   IDK but either way I’m glad it is working again.

Same problem here. Logged out of Emumovies and logged in again. That works.

But with the same creds I can't connect to Emumovies in LB.

edit: just saw this post on Emumovies:

So changed my password and everything works again!

Happening to me again today. I also tried resetting my password to just alphanumeric and that didn't fix the issue.
