MSNA95.2 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 I had tons of fun with this mix of rpg and fighting game (my two favorite genres). I've been thinking of playing it again recently, and what better excuse than being isolated on a deserted island? Quote
DevarionArias Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (for the GBA). I find myself replaying that game over and over. The endless combinations of recruiting characters and trying out different job combinations is pretty fun. Quote
grandpasgameroom Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago My one game to take to a deserted island would be Lode Runner. It has a level editor to create you own levels. You wouldn't run out of new levels to play. Quote
Mendu Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Rather it was a game for a desert island or the last game I knew I'd ever play: I'd pick Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSX. It was the first game I played as a teenager where I was actively daydreaming about it while I was supposed to be working at my first(ish?) job. Like I literally couldn't wait to get home and continue building what I still consider the perfect team. Heck I bought a serial port PS1 memory card reader just so I could move my saves over back in the mid 00s (which of course required a USB to serial adapter lol). There's just something about that game and I don't know if it's the art or the gameplay loop or what, but I sure do love it. No shade to the post about Tactics Advance above me (I like that game as well). Edited 10 hours ago by Mendu Quote
