Hey everyone. Recently, I've learned how to do API calls/requests to the RA API server to get a list of all linked hashes for every supported platform and because of that, I'm currently restructuring all the DATs so that it'll be easier for me to add, change and remove linked hashes from the DATs more often and more accurately. As a result, I won't be releasing any updates for the next 1 to 2 months, give or take. Thanks for your patience and support.3 points

I think I figured it out If I have too much stuff checked on the game details screen it won't scroll even if i have "scroll details" enabled. I could be wrong, but to me it sounds like the top section should scroll if it has too many lines?? This seems to be the source of my confusion Some games have more metadata than others, so those with less metadata show the HLTB data If I uncheck everything except "Show Custom Fields" in game details, nothing is displayed at all, including HLTB data (this seems to happen if I uncheck "Show Title", nothing will display in that area at all) If I uncheck everything except "Show Title" and "Show Custom Fields" it displays the title AND the HLTB data So it seems "Show Title" is required, and you cannot have too much metadata or too many things checked2 points

@Bobbel Okay, I found the problem. Apparently when LB moved to new server, it appended a .mp4 to the zip files. I was able to download them though and just rename them removing the .mp4 at the end. I.E. when you look at them in the download list it is called "Complete_Ultimate_Playlists_Video_Set.zip.mp4" which was maybe how it was recovered during the server change. After I downloaded it, I renamed it to Complete_Ultimate_Playlists_Video_Set.zip and it is fine and extracts correctly. You ISP or other things might be preventing the download as it see's them as videos rather than zip files. Can you try to download again and if given the option to rename before the download begins, make sure to delete the .mp4 at the end so it is distinguished as a zip file. I will try to re-upload them tonight for you in case the above doesn't work for ya. Thanks for reporting!!!1 point

This is everything in one! No need to grab the others. Yes, I have a few config ideas. Just finished up the Super Famicom T-En one. As for controls I wanna do N64, identify the games where the yellow directional buttons shouldn't be on the right stick, for e.g. fighters. Also, Jaguar.... man I wanna do this one next. Jaguar is great but that controller doesn't transfer to modern ones at all. I've figured out which one don't use the keypad at all. Now just to configure the ones that do. Yes, collaborative efforts are gonna be needed. I'm one guy biting off more than they can chew left and right. This project in particular needs fully organising into something like Airtable, then plugging into a website for easy access. It's a lot to do, but at this point it's do or die for this one.1 point

Dude, thank you so much for this. I had no idea this existed. Looks like he was trying to achieve what we are here, with official naming. Looks like most of the links are down but there's enough for me to learn from his ideas. I wonder if he knows the groundwork he put down is still being used? Seems like not a lot of people adopted it back then, but now it's more handy than ever with the sheer amount of translations and hacks. Gonna bring it back!1 point

I seem to be having issues getting this to appear in bigbox for some titles. I ran the bulk tool in launchbox to and can see the times there, but when I view game details in bigbox, i do not see the custom fields for most games. There are a couple I managed to see in bigbox, but the rest don't appear. I made sure to have show custom fields enabled in the game details options for the themes I tried it with (even criticalzone v2-default). I tried enabling scrolling details, and even unchecking everything else except for custom fields, and they still do not appear. Does anyone have any suggestions or have the same issue? Also, is there a way to add a badge to show what games have HLTB data?1 point

I’ve embraced the No-Intro naming convention and using gamelist.xml files to clean up how titles are displayed. I also think this should carry over to Hacks, Homebrew, and so on in your DATs for consistency and the importance of version numbers for instance. It makes sense for our file names to match the Supported Game Files on the RetroAchievements site. Hopefully you see it the same way and are already implementing that into your next update. Thanks again for all your work!1 point

I think this is a little past my very basic Photoshop capabilities - ideally, these videos would look like the Playlist or Favorites videos that @viking made for his set. Maybe somebody could modify those videos to make a recently played category. Would love to see someone make those too. I'd use 'em!1 point

Thanks for letting me know. V1.2.0 Fixed: Bulk Remove: Selecting Check All with no platform selected causes error. New Feature: Added * All 'platform'. Selecting this will show every Additional App. Deleting from this 'platform' is disabled. Being able to delete from the "* All" platform requires quite a bit more of a code rewrite. Based on all the positive reviews, I'm not sure it warrants the time that would be involved to do it.1 point
