Hi all, I have booted my PC and the Launchbox HDD is set as about to die so the bios does not let it boot. I have a backup of a month old. If I can get this disk up for some minutes, what files should I get from Launchbox regarding configuration? Thanx BTW It is the second Toshiba HDD to fail within 4 months time!!

Has anyone any luck with screenshots with the gamepad combo? I tried while playing with RetroArch cores and no success

I have assigned Button 5 + Button 6 as a screenshot combo in Launchbox. I start RetroArch, start a game (I used the stella Core and an Atari 2600 game), pressed the combo and no screenshot generated. Can you help me find what am I doing wrong? Thank you

Launchbox is built on Visual Studio. I think this is the most future proof solution. Even if CPUs change, Visual Studio will follow. Android is a nice OS for phones.

I was not happy, I had posted about it, when Jason had announced the Android port. I was worried because Android is a strange OS, built for other things in mind AND also because resources would be taken from the Windows version. PERSONALLY, playing games in a 6 inch screen with an attached third party pad (!!) or in an underpowered chinese box, seems meaningless. I opt for 100% emulation and realism. Android takes steps back. I am happy that Launchbox returns "full steam" to Windows. Lots of nice things can be done. God speed guys. PS:Jason is the most humble dev I have encountered in the emu community. Accusing him about ripping-off (for God's sake, 5$ is your morning coffee) is crazy.

Sorry to intervene but it seems crazy to emulate Spectrum via MAME when there are so many great emulators. Try RetroArch core in which you can configure shaders etc Personally, whatever I use RetroArch wherever possible. Uniform interface, one place to control everything, play from your couch, great Launchbox integration

Guys you are doing a superb job. I dont change BigBox for anything. Just a request. If you can find a way to make Launchbox a bit snappier. Until version 8.3 or something (which had tons of less features of course) the artwork display was instant. Now the scrolling creates this stall which is a bit akward. God speed guys! Keep up the good work!

MAME is a no go for vector games. FBNeo displays them in larger resolutions. Adding a good shader combo, you can achive an excelent result

Hi, I want to add some images to games. In this example, when I select Add Image instead of taking to the L:\LaunchBox\Images\Oric Atmos it takes to L:\LaunchBox\Images\Platforms\Oric Atmos Why is that?

Hi, I have added Oriculator (Oric 1 and Atmos emulator) but it has no Quit shortcut and the classic AutoHoteKey Script: $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} } does not have any effect. Any help appreciated BTW you can find fresh builds of the emulator here

You maybe right... But I would like you to consider, raising the screenshots, putting them under the Ratings because you have a preview in a glance. Scrolling for Description is more natural IMHO
