I've noticed that removing the fanart background from gekirinden makes it work, the same with other saturn games removing FABG and box front reconstructed (added from a forum pack not in the database) also fixes things.

I just made the log, im guessing it's no use now but it's here anyway.

There is no need for a fix really, all you need to do is add a text element for the game / platform name and then condition it to collapsed unless the clearlogo is not there. There are some examples in CTC theme project files.
Edit: Fixed, i do'nt know how but i got it working after a bit of messing with the template.

My Startup/Shutdown themes made in CTC 3.2.7 are not working in LB v13.18. Tried LB v13.17 as well. LB's Default one is working.
The Pause theme made in CTC is working okay, and all of them are working in BB, just not LB. Anyone else having this issue?
They don't work in LB in 3.1.5 (which im using) but i thought they'd been fixed, has wheels showing text when there's no clear logo been fixed in the latest version?

@cleverestI didn't do any converting, I just used 'cue to chd' in this program. Booted game and music is there. As I said 119mb, Alfred Chicken is 1mb without music. As what Joe said looks like you've converted the iso not the cue.

I just converted Alfred Chicken, it works fine, went from 209mb iso and wav files to 119mb CHD.

I have been watching the videos on the Launchbox Youtube channel for the Community Theme Creator. Are those the videos you are referring to?
I haven't seen anything yet about using templates for Wheel/Wall content in those videos. When creating a Wheel or Wall, it's very easy to have it use for example a Gameplay screenshot for the wheel/wall item. But I'm trying to figure out how to make the item be something more complex, like a screenshot, overlayed with a clear logo and maybe the game title as well and maybe even a "favorite star" graphic.
When creating a wheel/wall and choosing the item type you can choose "Image", "Source" or "Template". I'm pretty sure that template is what I need here but I don't see any instruction or documentation on how to create a template to be used here.
Click on Modifier at the top of the window.

Option 1: Does it do the same if you use Tsugaru_CUI.exe (vs Tsugaru_GUI.exe)? (I presume that's the Command-line [User interface?] version)
Option 2: If you edit the emulator and check "Attempt to hide console window on startup/shutdown", does that help?
I was using CUI, i used GUI to get the screenshot, i didn't think of the hide console window, that was it, thanks again Joe! 👍

Hopefully being able to adjust the opacity (aka, transparency) will get you what you need. Mainly because there's really good chance I will NOT be adding brightness, contrast, gamma etc. adjustment options. Too many options create too much confusion. (Sounds like something Confucius might say.)
No i agree, just giving some information, thanks.
One more thing, i tried with Tsugaru emulator and it picks the console window? could that be fixed?

As I've stated before (or at least elsewhere), I know little to nothing about shaders/scanlines. So your feedback is important and much appreciated. Thanks for that!
When you "dropped the opacity of Scanline to 50%", did you do this by editing the .png file?
Sounds like I should add another setting. Maybe something like this:
Yes i made another PNG from the scanline.png, but if you could add an opacity slider that would be great.
Adding black lines to the image darkens it but in Retroarch for example shaders have brightness, contrast, gamma etc settings to compensate for it somewhat.
Rocketlauncher uses png's as you're doing but allows to set a transparency.

Tested with Duckstation, working ok but the shaders do darken the image a lot so i dropped the opacity of Scanline to 50% seems better, could probably go lower.

2. Someone else mentioned this also, but have you encountered an issue where the Model 2 emulator crashes when attempting to change the analog controls? I have a Logitech wheel and am unable to map the controls to it as the emu crashes immediately upon trying to change any analog setting. I know it's not the ROM as I've tried several and it happens with every ROM that has the analog option.
I have the same issue, looking on the arcadecontrols forum people are suggesting it's due to multiple usb devices or controllers being plugged in, if you unplug everything to set the controls and then put them back after it should work? I'd try it but i've got 5 other controllers plugged in and am fed up of windows changing the order.
