  1. No probably not, I'm grasping at straws at this point! PM is on it's way. Just one last thing, in case it helps. Usually when I make a change like this the left panel (Listing Publishers in this case) refreshes, and that doesn't seem to be happening. PM on it's way. Thanks so much for your time, I really do appreciate it.
  2. No change I'm afraid. Sounds a bit silly but could it be related to the new Plaform/Developer/Whatever view (see pic)? I'd been using a custom theme (which didn't utilise these views in the "Details Box") until I recently reverted to using a default one.
  3. Unfortunately not, the change reverts as soon as I click on another game and click back. Changing the left sidebar filters doesn't help, again, the change reverts as soon as I click "away" onto something else. I've also tried changing the publisher via the "pencil" button and by using "ctrl+e". Using the bulk edit for multiple games has the same issue too. What's equally perplexing is that it's intermittent - I had this issue the other day. Then it stopped happening and I thought it was fixed but it recurred again.
  4. No dice I'm afraid - everything looks in order. I haven't used Skraper at all either. Appreciate the reply!
  5. Hello all, I'm having a problem whereby Launchbox is not saving metadata changes I am making. By way of a little background, I am "cleaning" the metadata for the publisher and development fields, for example, removing "inc" and "co" etc. I make a change by adding, say, "Software" to the Publisher field (see pic 1). I save the change and the field in the sidebar doesn't update as usual but the change shows on the details pane on the right (see pic 2). Once I click away to another publisher and back the change has "reverted" (see pic 3). The issue is intermittent, sometimes changes do save properly but more often than not they don't. If anyone has any thoughts on the cause or what I can do to stop this happening it would be appreciated!
  6. That has worked perfectly - I knew it had to be something simple.... Thanks very much!
  7. I have just set up the Citra 3DS emulator and I was wondering if anyonce can help with an issue I have. I have managed to decrypt my 3ds files and can start them through Citra with no issues. However, when I try and launch the same via Launchbox I get an error stating "Invalid ROM Format" - like the error I would get if opened an un-enctrypted 3DS file. I'm sure it is something really simple but I can't work out what the issue is. Launcbox is directed to the exact same file that I can open easily via Citra but still pulls up the error when launching via Launchbox. I know LB is pointing to the correct file. This happens to both of the games I have added to Launchbox, both open OK via Citra. Any help would be massively appreciated.
  8. I've read this with interest after heading across from the 2022 Community Poll. Like many other commenters I will be getting a Steam Deck later this year and would like to have Launchbox available there. It would be nice. That said it is not any kind of deal-beaker. Storage issues would quickly arise given the size of my library and there are already some good Steam Deck solutions out there. I'm currently creating a "Greatest Hits" playlist that I will eventually export to my Steam Deck with the aim of keeping it at 512GB. I'm on the LB train fully, there is no other program I use more and it is utterly awesome. If you get there and can do it, then great. I wonder if getting "ahead of the game" now would mean more new customers should the Steam Deck really take off but that's a gamble and, right now, only Jason and the staff are in a proper position to assess whether or not to go ahead and devote their finite resources to making it happen. Many of the users currently have lifetime licences already so there is no new revenue stream coming from us, perhaps the Steam Deck could be a real winner and be worth the resources. I would happily consider paying afresh for a Linux LB build perhaps with a good discount for holding a lifetime licence. Whatever happens, thanks to you all for Launchbox.
  9. I'm hoping someone can help with an issue I have. When I originally imported rom sets into Launchbox I had PAL releases as the primary rom and other regions/versions as additional applications. I am looking for a way of changing the primary rom for each of these games without editing each individual entry via the "Additional Apps" dialogue . i.e. a way of changing import region priority and re-importing the roms. I need to preserve my metadata though - especially my star ratings. Otherwise I would just delete the entrie from Launchbox and reimport with my desired region priorities. If anyone can help with a way of doing this it would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Hiya there @CriticalCid. Thanks very much for your thoughts - I'd come to some similar conclusions myself. I will definitely look into the NoFiller Mame setup though - might be just the comprmise I need. Now, to set about my task. Thanks again for the response - it is appreciated.
  11. Hello all, I am wondering if the collective minds of the forum can help me with some suggestions. I have a large Launchbox build (which I'll call "OG Launchbox") which has pretty much every game I can throw at it installed and I am currently working on a "lite" edition which will only contain games that I have rated at 3.5 stars or above. I am looking for a less labour intensive way of achieving this. Currently I am adding roms manually by picking them out from the "OG Launchbox" Games folders by eye and adding them to the "Lite" versions Game folders and then importing them which is taking a long time. In addition I am trying to do the same with MAME which is even more labour intensive as I am trying to get all variations of the ROM for the build (for example importing both the 2-player and 4-player Simpsons game). Currently it involves looking into the "Additional Apps" section of the game properties and picking them out individually from the Roms folder. A huge task. What I am asking for is if anyone has any idea of a tool I can use to scan my Launchbox games and copy & export any ROM files that have been rated at 3.5 stars or above so I can just drop them into the games folder of my "Lite" Launchbox build. Alternatively if anyone has any suggestions of how I can achieve the same goal with a different method from the one I have stated above I would be really pleased to hear it. Thank you to anyone that takes the time to read this. I post rarely but have read the forum plenty and this is a great community.
  12. Another request for the list please, I would love it if you could add Hover Bovver by Llamasoft. It's a great, quirky, Jeff Minter game. As always, many thanks for your efforts.
  13. Hi @Zombeaver, I'm watching this collection come together and it is really amazing the work you are putting in. It's things like this that enrich this community and it is fantastic. I will be adding the project into my setup when it is further along but have used the standalone version and it is great. Many thanks for all your hard work. I have a request for a game if I could be so forward? It is Andy Capp by Mirrorsoft. Once more, bravo and thanks.
