if you still want to use Project64 you can use this Keyfile Generator to remove that screen for good without the need to add anything to the CFG file. Just double-click on the generated REG file to add the key to your registry after running the EXE. https://github.com/stefexec/PJ64Keygen/releases/

Never mind, I was able to the the game working after disabling DIMM enabled and enabling DIP 4 in NAOMI Mode settings.

Trying to run any of the 3 versions of Virtua Fighter 4 Final Tuned in DEmul gives this error: https://imgur.com/NqLyvmg Even after going into the Test Menu and checking the DIMM status: https://imgur.com/SK1jyWQ Any way to possibly resolve this issue?

Open up Notepad and put in the following text: mame.exe -cc Save it as whatever name you want for it like CreateConfig for example and then change the .txt extension to .bat. Put that file in the same directory/folder with your mame.exe and then just double-click on it and the mame.ini, plugin.ini and ui.ini files will be created in the same folder. Open mame.ini with any text editor like Notepad, find the skip_gameinfo line and change the 0 to a 1, save and close it. Next open ui.ini, find the skip_warnings line and change the 0 to a 1, next find the skip_biosmenu line and change the 0 to a 1, then find the skip_partsmenu line and change the 0 to a 1, save and close.🙂 -

Yeah, I've got it them showing up correctly now! I use a canvas in Photoshop that's the resolution of my Ultrawide monitor, scale the horizontal down to 1920, place a line shape in the size of what's in the other configuration and in the same x placement, then scale it back up to 3440 and get the numbers I need for my setup. And then the same for the vertical, which I only had to do for BattleZone.

Okay, gotcha and thanks! I have the MAME Unified Bezels Pack from EmuMovies and it has bezels for these 3 games. I'll tinker around by including stuff from their default.lay configurations onto mines and see what works.

I just finished making MAME bezel artwork Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe and BattleZone. But now when I run them with the custom bezels, everything is in black and white. Would anyone with experience with custom bezels and vector games for MAME help me out? I found a thread on another forum where the person figured out how to fix it, but the attached .lay files on the thread were no longer available.

Is there any way to get the CRT-Geom MOD for DEmul to work with LaunchBox? Because it needs to be launched first then it opens up DEmul for it to work.

In the preview video on the theme within Big Box, the front cart images didn't spin like the disc images. But they spin just like the discs. Is there a way to make the front cart images not spin like in the preview video?

I was able to get it to show up correctly after figuring out the correct x,y coordinates for each screen. Thanks for helping me figure it out! This is how I have my default.lay configured (didn't need the ini file as it was the cause of the black screen with only audio and not being able to bring up the menu):

My MAME is the latest 0.228. I'm only able to get into the configuration menu without the ini file from there I can only select screen 0 but within it, options on how I want the screens to be displayed ie. Dual Over-Under (Gapless) etc.

It isn't working, all I get is a black screen with audio only. I basically divided all my art work elements for the bezel in half for each screen and then edited my default.lay for them and for the second screen. Here's how I have it configured it's for a 21:9 Ultrawide monitor:

So other than adding the ini file, I won't have to change anything in the default.lay file which I have configured for vertical layout?

Would anybody know how to configure a default.lay file for a custom bezel artwork for Punch-Out and Super Punch-Out? A traditional default.lay configured for a vertical layout won't work. I think it's because the games use 2 screens vertically.

I'm just using the default theme with Platform View 1, also I didn't realize that not all themes or views support platform videos. I guess I'll just play around with the views and see which one works.
