  1. Same thing just happened to me for Nights of Azure 2. If it matters the first game is imported in too
  2. I am trying to create as close as i can to a seamless transition from startup into big box, but when i put the exe file into shell:startup like the LB video says it did nothing on start up. can someone help point me in the right direction?
  3. it was a LB video, it was just from 4 years ago, but yes that was exactly how to do it. thank you very much
  4. I found a video on it, but it says to click "add a game" in the menu, but it's a 4 year old video and that menu doesn't exist on my launch box, so what is the new way to do it?
  5. that did it. my dumb self had just 3DS instead of Nintendo 3DS as the associated platform......talk about a rookie mistake. thank you
  6. ok, I did that. deleted all of the duplicate retroarchs and shortcuts i had floating around, downloaded the nightly version of retroarch , pointed launchbox to the exe and it still does nothing when i click the game. when i go to big box, it goes to the "now loading" screen and then back to the game screen. I don't get it, it says i have the core when i go to manage emulators. but when i click on the game nothing happens regardless.
  7. does it matter that it's a shortcut? because when i direct it to the shortcut (which is all i have for some reason) it does nothing and still won't start. the only non-shortcut exe i have is what i downloaded through launchbox, but that is the one where no matter how much i download the cores nothing "sticks". is there a different downloader i should be getting?
  8. I've been fighting with this for an hour now reading forum posts, watching videos, and nothing has worked. I'm trying to play a 3DS game using Citra 2018, it works fine in the retroarch outside of launchbox, but inside i click on it and it does nothing. I go to manage my emulators, i download the exe file that the wizard directs me to from inside of launchbox, i put everywhere where all of the videos say to put them, I open up the exe that i linked to launchbox, and i go to download the core, it says it downloaded it, but then it doesn't. It says it does, but i go to the main page and go to "load core" and there is nothing there (other than a cloud controller option). I don't know what i'm supposed to do to make this work inside of launch box, and when i go to the manage emulator and i see all of the cores they all say "core missing" and when i click on them it says "The Retroarch core is missing. Download it to ensure the platforms using them work as expected" but i can't download them, because they won't "stick" in retroarch when i do. what am I doing wrong here?
