  1. is there a way to make it be less picky? Maybe this is a feature request? i.e. an option to match on partial? Even prompting the user with what it found and asking to accept or not is better then doing nothing at all. Which then requires a ton of manual edits. I actually do not want to change the file names as I have everything working in hyperspin. I am trying out launchbox as a replacement but I am not ready to commit yet. There are a lot of things I like about launchbox. But if I am 100% honest its not living up to "easier".
  2. All my Atari 800 games have "800 <game title>" the 800 is screwing up the metadata search. Is there a way to tell launchbox to ignore the 800 part of the name. The search in general is a bit picky.
  3. Newb question: how do I get it to autoload the disc when it starts the emulator? I think maybe my problem is the files are extracted ISO (so .xbe file) that are zipped. I think I may need to convert all the files to IOS and then zip? Can someone confirm?
  4. Think I figured this one out also x= normal(A) jump z=run(b)
  5. seems like the answer is yes just have to choose that area. I have another very basic issue. Should be simple but so far I have struggled. Loaded NES roms, used mesen core under retroarch. My issues is mario doesn't jump the correct height. He does short jumps and its as if turbo is on but I have mapped it to a different button. I am currently using the keyboard This seems very basic what am I doing wrong? Can the controls be mapped per game?
  6. Looking into launchbox. I spent the better part of 2 days getting Hyperspin up and working. Its clunky but it works and all the files run from my NAS. I have a 20TB drive setup with all the emulators, roms, and SW on a NAS drive. Its roughly 12.4TB full. The NAS handles all my backups of my drives.I'd like to leave everything on the NAS and just use a PC I have built up to run emulation. I was able to get hypersin to run completey from the NAS with minimal instalation on the host machine. I'm curious if I could accomplish the same thing with Launchbox. It looks like a better interface and less tedious to get working. But I noticed even if I left my roms on the NAS it wanted to import all the media and images to the host machine. Can it install onto the NAS?
