  1. No i have that all in mind already there will have to be a few changes
  2. here is link to new theme i will be basing the vertical theme on
  3. instead of saying thank you all the time just hit the like button LOL
  4. @MerlinArcade No i did the views for you enjoy them, in time i will be creating a completely new vertical theme based on the new theme im working on i am just waiting for Jason to first sort out the font issues in the options screen and a few other small items.
  5. just used what i've used in other themes site pack of origin and replaced the black background with it make sure whatever image you put in the root of the image folder is called Merlin.jpg the logo merlin arcades you have on the jpg though isn't centred see screenshots it should be directly above the wheel its more to the right easily fixed in an art program
  6. @MerlinArcade Am a mile ahead of you here is new zip delete default vertical and replace with this has your jpg in it as well Default Vertical.zip
  7. yes but the images are hard coded in the backend by jason this is the line for the background fanart video <transitions:TransitionPresenter TransitionSelector="{Binding BackgroundTransitionSelector}" Content="{Binding BackgroundView}" Height="{Binding ElementName=Canvas, Path=ActualHeight}" Width="{Binding ElementName=Canvas, Path=ActualWidth}" IsContentVideo="true" /> and there is no way to code it to use a single image for all games or all platforms you would need to create a bitbucket ticket for that and then have enough people to vote for it to make it a priority
  8. It is and you must have use platform clear logos as background ticked in Bigbox
  9. if you want that image for all your platforms you would need to copy it for as any platforms you have and rename each copy to perspective platform and then the same for games as there is no way at moment to set a single default background for games see screenshots images platformsimages games in the images folder
  10. @MerlinArcade No the images that are at the bottom are logos the image in the middle are called banners as for the blah blah it only shows what you have scraped for that game by downloading the metadata in launchbox as have just checked and mine is showing a lot more
  11. Yes provided that each image is named after each platform for the platform images and each image is named after each game for the game images edit the same applies to all images boxes banners logos etc and each must be in their proper folders
  12. @MerlinArcadeas you can see the image has moved up quite well see screenshot did you overwrite the view with the new one
  13. yes use the platform background images provided you have the images
  14. @MerlinArcade Image priorities are set in LaunchBox, Tools down to images click on background priorities and check the priority see screenshothere is revised platform xaml with banner moved up PlatformWheel1FiltersView.xaml
  15. @MerlinArcade Its banners not logos, the logos are in the wheel, You set your image priorities in LaunchBox for the backgrounds you dont need to use logos you need to play around with the priorities, its the background priorities under images you need to familiarise yourself with these and its also hard for me to sort placement out when i don't have the image you are using. As for the stretching of the background image you are using, you are better of using fanart images for each game for the backgrounds as what you are proposing cannot be achieved through xaml
  16. @MerlinArcade No HorizontalWheel1GamesView.xaml is the one i did for you for for the games.
  17. @MerlinArcade As promised here is the revised PlatformWheel1FiltersView see screenshot i enlarged the wheel as much as i couldhere is the xaml paste inside the views folder in the theme and overwrite PlatformWheel1FiltersView.xaml
  18. @Flintz to set up controllers you must do it in game, make sure your controller is connected, open up emulator.exe then go emulator tab and load rom see screenshotonce game has launched press the escape button this will minimise Capcom Play System 3 Emulator now click on game tab and then Controller config which will open up this window now click on each entry and press corresponding key on controller, remember controller must be connected otherwise emulator exe is liable to freeze. @DOS76 Thanks for easier way to launch roms I've always being using the bat method for this emulator now i finally can get rid of using them, added bonus now it will close using the esc key instead of having to alt+f4. still learning new things LOL.
  19. will send you an mail on here it might help you figure out whats wrong youll see it comeing up on the top bar at yout name the little envelope
  20. one last thing post what you have in one of the bats
  21. name the jojo rom to jojo.zip and click on the bat and see if it will load it
  22. are those rar files for the roms they should .zip
  23. and just to make sure it works i put my emulator and bats in a different directory and just changed the address of where the emulator was like i showed you in the bat and clicked on the new bat and it worked perfectly
  24. @Flintz when you open the emulator itself by clicking on its exe, then click on Emulator and then load rom you'll see that what the roms should be named which is exactly the same as what i had the bats named see screenshot and the bats should be inside a folder called after the GAME NAME as i stated earlier and showed in a screenshot
