@Flintz when you open the emulator itself by clicking on its exe, then click on Emulator and then load rom you'll see that what the roms should be named which is exactly the same as what i had the bats named see screenshot and the bats should be inside a folder called after the GAME NAME as i stated earlier and showed in a screenshot
-
@Flintz You should not have renamed the bat files at all they need to be named as i had them
-
@Flintz This is what the ini file should look like make sure to just change the screen resolution to the same as yours nothing else in the ini needs to be changed ;Configuration file for the Capcom System 3 emulator ;All text to the right of ; is ignored (use as comments) ;Add your rom directories here (max 10) ;ROMS subdirectory in the same folder than the exe is always scanned when searching for roms ;(remove the ; form Dir1) [RomDirs] ;Dir1=c:\cps3\roms [Renderer] ForceSync=0 ;Force directx to lock to vsync refresh SoftwareVertexProcessing=1 ForceManaged=0 ;Forces the DX driver to use Managed textures instead of Dynamic. Use it if the emulator ;crashes after loading or doesn't show anything FilterTilemaps=1 ;Perform bilinear filtering when stretching in fullscreen FullScreenWidth=1280 FullScreenHeight=1024 ;These options are configured from menus so don't touch FullMode=3 Sound=1 Frameskip=-1 AutoFull=1 Filter=0 [CPS3] Region=3

@Flintz the roms have to be inside the emulators folder it even states that in the ini file or they wont work the emulator will not be able to find them
-
@Flintz have you set the paths as i stated earlier put the roms and the bats inside the emulator folder in a folder called roms (lower case) and make sure you change the paths properly in the bat useing notepad pointing to the emulator see the underlined bits cd /d "C:\Users\PC\Documents\LaunchBox\Emulators\cps3emulator" start "Emulator" "C:\Users\PC\Documents\LaunchBox\Emulators\cps3emulator\emulator.exe" %~n0
-
@Flintz Well if its working outside LaunchBox it should work fine, open one of the bat folders and click on it the bat file does it launch the game answer quick or i wont be able to reply as it extremely early in the morning here and i need some sleep
-
@Flintz I bet it is because you are missing the roms corresponding .chd files for each game which should be in a folder inside the emulator called CHD the chd's needed are 3ga000.chd, 33s000.chd, cap-33s-2.chd, cap-jjk-160.chd, jjk000.chd, jjm000.chd, sf3000.chd, wzd000.chd.
-
@Flintz look at the screenshot, the zips you see are the Roms and the Folders you see are the bats, they must all be in the same folder and if you look at the address bar at the top of the screenshot it shows what the address of where they are documents folder inside that launchbox folder inside that folder emulators folder etc
-
@Flintz One last thing to exit emulator.exe you use the alt+f4
-
@Flintz download the bats and you will see no they are named after the games
-
@Flintz To make it easier for you here are all the bats you might have to change using notepad where you have you emulator and roms destination are unzip and inside the bats folder are the game bat folders these are whats used named after the games. Bats.zip
-
@Flintz Thats why i said copy the bat and create a folder called after eachgame and paste the bat inside each folder
-
@Flintz When you follow my instructions your CPS3 folder should look like this see screen shot,i would place all the Rom inside a folder called roms inside the CPS3 emulator folder
-
@Flintz It was created by a past member called BD000 i gave you the bat in a zip on my post click on its link and download it and follow instructions in my post.
-
@Flintz In order to get the CPS3 emulator (emulator.exe) to play CPS3 games you must use a bat file, this bat file must be in a folder named after each game here is an example of a bat for use unzip and place in the CPS3 rom folder and point LaunchBox to the bat do not use an emulator under the emulation tab see screenshot of where to point file to copy the bat and place in a folder named after each game for CPS3. Replace in the bat your game location. jojo.zip

Having difficulty with animated gifs
Maddoc1007 replied to shro2016's topic in Big Box Custom Themes
@shro2016 Animated gifs are working, but however if you want to use an animated gif per platform or per game that was never implemented here is a link to an alternate coverflow i did awhile back with an animated gif that works when you first load up the fullscreen coverflow view, i checked and it still works. -

@Jason Carr Can you fix the <transitions:TransitionPresenter TransitionSelector="{Binding BackgroundTransitionSelector}" Content="{Binding BackgroundView}" Height="{Binding ElementName=Canvas, Path=ActualHeight}" Width="{Binding ElementName=Canvas, Path=ActualWidth}" IsContentVideo="true" /> for the TextFiltersView.xaml as it is it only shows the Background Image but NOT the Background Video when Platform Background Video is ticked in bigbox Options, as this works fine in the TextGamesView.xaml but not the TextFiltersView.xaml

Frameset and frames page names please
Maddoc1007 replied to MerlinArcade's topic in Big Box Custom Themes
@MerlinArcade Glad you got the Logo's sorted as for a single default image for each Platform View or each Game Views in BigBox i'm afraid there is no way to set a single default image for either at the moment as BigBox utilises your images as set in the priorities in LaunchBox. You should put in a bitbucket ticket for that under issues/requests at top of page for it.
