  1. Caching of images seem to be broken in BigBox in beta7. when you first open up BigBox all the images in both coverflow and Coverflow with details show up, but then when you change through all the game views and come back to the Coverflow views some of the boxes are missing see screenshot I updated from beta 4 to beta 7 and caching was fine in beta 4. I am using 3d box fronts
  2. @Jason Carr Thank you for the sincere explanation KUDOS I can be a hot head at times.
  3. Where I live the word crappy means that something is really bad.
  4. @Jason Carr Just watched the above YouTube video and was pleasantly surprised that LaunchBox/BigBox works so well on something so small. However I must reproach you on a statement you made in the video from 14:12 to 14:17 which I thought was a very disingenuous statement for anyone to make, which was "this is not a crappy theme". I for one do not think any theme created by any member here is crappy they all have their own merits and as members first have to learn xaml possibly having no previous knowledge or experience of using it and then the countless hours they spend creating the theme they upload here for the benefit of the community, so listening to a comment such as that on a YouTube video will only alienate people from creating or uploading themes. I am terribly sorry and apologise to have to come on here and say this that anybody's efforts can be rewarded by such a comment.
  5. @SentaiBrad did that but windows update still didn't work until I did a roll back.
  6. Hi all sorry I have been away from the forum for awhile but I am busy writing a book at the moment which will keep me away from here for awhile. Anyway the point of this post is to warn all windows 7 users to NOT INSTALL WINDOWS UPDATE KB4012218, this update checks your processor and if it has the latest generation of processors it will not allow anymore updates to windows 7. I inadvertently installed this update on a computer with a E7300 dual core processor and windows update told me it as my computer had a 7th generation processor it will no longer get windows updates this really shows that this update cant identify processors properly at all as my processor is indeed not a 7th generation processor but one that was manufactured in 2008 and that Microsoft is going out of its way to stop support for windows 7. Luckily I restored my system to an earlier restore point and windows update works again.
  7. Have you tried using masking tape over and under where you want to drill before drilling.
  8. You have really raised the ball game with this theme hats off to you the overall look along with the animations are excellent, to get it to work on a 5.4 monitor all i had to do was resize all the animation pngs to the monitor size and the same with 4 core items the system.jpg, textview_comicbook_frame.png, view1_comicbook_frame.png and the view2_comicbook_frame.png A BIB BIG KUDOS for teaching us more theme goodness.
  9. The only difference for me is that i have individual command lines per game and dont have the attempt to hide console window checked see screenshots
  10. Just did 21 launches of games one after each other and no problems with sound but had bad background video 8 times out of the 21 after quitting a game. Also i dont use nomousey for hiding the mouse i use LaunchBox Cursor Changer v2 by @Vlansix
  11. I don't have a sound issue with Demul 160816 with background music on it works ok and music resumes when you exit game. However i do have a problem with the resume of the background video it dulls very dark and flickers madly until you move to the next game.
  12. Have Gifs per game working as well we just need Jason to set binding folders for them. Let the Gifs Begin.
  13. @Jason Carr I sent you an important message on here i hope you will be suprised good news on the Gif Front per platform got them working WOOHOO.
  14. Uploaded last night an updated HT For PC with a new Games View, with a small Horizontal wheel with a 10 second Fade of wheel and background see video. Also just uploaded an Alternate Platform wheel 3 view with Right Horizontal wheel with a 10 second fade of the Wheel and Its Background, download it seperately Unzip with 7Zip and replace the Platform wheel 3 view in the Themes View Folder with it. Again many Thanks goes out to @Grila for his wonderful Trigger Pure Genius KUDOS to him, and a thank you @CriticalCid for his wonderful Arcade Game Videos.
  15. The only thing we need to figure out now is how to give the wheel a more natural curve to it, hopefully someone like yourself @Grila will figure that one out too.
  16. Yes but without your trigger i wouldn't have figured that out pure GENIUS KUDOS
  17. PS: I left out some info on my last post with the revised xaml works directly on the Wheel element, but you must use Grila's Fade Trigger with it the xaml i uploaded will explain better than i can.
  18. @Grila Thank you very much sincerely for this i played around with it more and came up with a slight variation using part of your code, this gives the wheel element a fade which you can set the duration for. Uploaded here is revised PlatformWheel2FiltersView.xaml for all to check out once again thank you for putting me on the right path. PlatformWheel2FiltersView.xaml
  19. @Grila Really looking forward to learning this and awaiting your new theme to find out what more you can teach us again sincerest thank you for your great contributions.
  20. @Grila Looking forward to learning your new eye candy tricks, and many thanks for teaching us new things in xaml KUDOS.
  21. @jaythompson Looks really great, just a question does the Retro Jukebox read the artwork if it is embedded in the mp3.
  22. @Grila Well done was trying to get fade working with the wheels but couldn't sort it out KUDOS.

@salyangel Just uploaded one for Mame name as you have your platform named.
  24. @kiroscell Go to the downloads section Themes and look through the themes and find one you like, most have video of what the themes look like. Also remember when placing platform videos in the themes folder inside LaunchBox they go Theme/WhateverTheme/Video/Platforms and the videos themselves must be named the same as your platforms, videos placed here will override normal platform videos. Or you can place them in LaunchBox/Videos/Platforms instead. Game Videos must go inside each Platforms specific folder such as Arcade, Nintendo etc, game videos must be named after the games. Criticalzone that comes with LaunchBox doesn't need background video turned on they must be turned off, to show up in the space CriticalCid has created for them. Only themes such as the default theme and others in the download section that use full background platform and game video need background platform and game video for showing the videos full-screen.
