  1. @DOS76 Which View? So i can take a look at in in the next few days.
  2. @DOS76 was that background videos by any chance i think it has to do with the resizing of the canvas, but hopefully all issues will eventually be ironed out in future updates.
  3. @lordmonkus Yes definitely needs font resizing but as this is only the first draft it will eventually be all ironed out in future updates with the help of @Jason Carr and i wanted to get this out there for people who wanted a working Vertical Theme before Xmas, it looks well on a 16.10 monitor as that and a 15.4 monitor is all i had to work on.
  4. Please be advised that the Default Vertical is now in the Themes download Section. WISHING ALL MEMBERS A VERY HAPPY XMAS AND A WONDERFUL PROSPEROUS NEW-YEAR MADDOC1007
  5. Default Vertical View File Hi as promised here is the Default BigBox Vertical theme specifically for Vertical Screens, Arcade Machines etc. Unzip and place unzipped file in your LaunchBox theme Folder. You should now be able to scroll and see your menu items in the BigBox and Options Screens. All Background Images and Background Videos will fill the entire screen so it is advisable to have Vertical Videos for your Platforms and Games, if not please be advised that normal Platform Videos and Game videos will fill the entire screen if you set show Platform or Game Videos in settings. This is a work in progress as Jason said that when he has time in the new-year he will sort out the fonts sizing that is needed in certain aspects of the menu and options screen which currently cannot be done in xaml, but i have used a alternate method for the time being in order that you will be able to see what you are navigating in these menu's. Platform and Game Views are reworked to take advantage of Vertical monitors. For people having trouble on some views please be advised that the New Views recently added are not skinned for Vertical Orientation yet. Below is a list of working Vertical Views Working Views Platforms Platform Text List with Details Platform wheel 1, 2, 3, 4 Working views Games: Coverflow Coverflow with Details Text List with Details Vertical Wheel 1 Horizontal boxes with Details Also note that as this is the default theme reworked by me it is still solely the property of @Jason Carr and UnbrokenSoftware. Thanks to @Jason Carr for allowing me to manipulate this theme for Vertical Machines. So Happy Christmas to All and a Very Merry NewYear. 7. @snoopy in ScrummVm in options first tab set to fullscreen renderer use opengl and under that leave at default
  8. Long time ago that was the only way that model 2 games would launch was through bats but cant remember what instance of the m2 emulator changed that as is to long ago now to remember.
  9. @DOS76 I'm not someone asked about the use of the bat bd00 used way back and i replied then @CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT asked me to test few things with bat and i did. The emulator_multicpu runs roms zips fine without the use of bats through LaunchBox/BigBox.
  10. @CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT Just did i get an empty log.txt file with nothing in it
  11. @CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT The syntax of the command is incorrect. this is log
  12. @CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT put a pause at end of bat ran it, exited game, it leaves CMD window open until a key is pressed once key is pressed it exits CMD no syntax error or error of any kind or issues.
  13. @Trihy Each bat must be in a folder named as the game here is copy of what is inside bel.bat remember save as rom name bat (bel.bat = rom.bat = behind enemy lines.bat you get the idea?) and to put bat inside folder with game name (folder name = Behind Enemy Lines) cd /d "C:\Users\PC\Documents\LaunchBox\Emulators\Model 2" start "Emulator" "C:\Users\PC\Documents\LaunchBox\Emulators\Model 2\emulator_multicpu.exe" %~n0
  14. @Jason Carr Just uploaded the Default Vertical Theme to you by mail on here with a small list of maybe possible changes you might be able to make Cheers and KUDOS for a Great 7.0
  15. I have the default vertical theme done i will upload it in a few days i first want @Jason Carr to go over it and maybe he will be able to change one or 2 items in it that cannot be changed in the xaml code, it will stretch all Background video and Background images to your screen resolution as this seemed the best option when i was doing it, So it would be advantageous to use vertical Videos and Background Images To suit your Vertical screen orientation, so just a few days to wait for the upload.
  16. @lordmonkus LOL LOL LOL dont use gas save the environment LOL
  17. Just thought id let you know am starting on the vertical theme this week should have it done in a week or so hopefully barring unfortunate circumstances.
  18. @krazydad69 Just add the first episode in LaunchBox and then add all other episodes as an additional apps, then when you right click the first episode in LaunchBox it will show you a list of all the other episodes added as additional apps, or when you click on that episode in BigBox it will show you a list of the episodes you can click on and play. see screenshot
  19. @Jason Carr Just quick tested the latest beta Wheel are a lot smoother and all wheel logos show straight away, and the video transitions as well when set to fade are a lot smoother no popping, still quickly shows the device when set to none no biggie but i just leave on fade now as better smoother experience overall. KUDOS on another good quick fast update.
  20. While im not disputing Vlc is good or bad i used to use it extensively but it had many playback problems when i used it, that is why i went to daum potplayer and have never looked back it is more lightweight does not need installed codecs as it comes with its own and also as an added benefit windows media player plays all as well without having to install codecs as well (i do not have any codec packs of any description installed apart from potplayer 20mb and it also uses x input)
  21. @Britxcdn Oddly enough i just followed what you just posted and seen a speed increase in BigBox by turning off all music options except navigation sounds and yet i hadn't background music turned on maybe @Jason Carr should find an engine specifically for the music that doesn't rely on the vlc engine which seems to be at the bottom of this maybe too many instances of vlc running? maybe something like this which is an open source player http://www.jaangle.com/ it hasnt been worked on since 2012 and maybe some of the code could help source code https://sourceforge.net/projects/jaangle/ public licence gplv3
  22. @Britxcdn I had that problem with clicking forward and backward by any chance are you using a usb gamepad, the reason i ask is that i was and am and it was the usb port on my computer it had become loose (possible by pulling in and out the controller and usb devices i had to replace the female usb on the front of my computer because of severe wear once i replaced it the clicking became fine again, i'm just putting it out there as a possibility
  23. @Jason Carr Did some further testing noticed that it doesn't happen if you have platform video transitions set to fade and only happens when you have platform video transitions set to none. ps did some further testing only does it with the vlc engine doesn't happen with the wmp engine.
