  1. No... not until Antropus updates it.
  2. Thanks... I will definitely take a look at your HLSL settings. I think the BGFX looks like it is going to be really sweet once you can edit and save the settings. I had a setup that I thought looked really great, but of course it wouldn't save. So hopefully, we will be able to do that soon. It will be cool if you can, at some point, mix and match those "effects" into your own "chains".
  3. So, I have this set up and I'm testing the shaders... with the BGFX, the CRT-geom looks good but is there a way to remove the curvature for all games without tweaking the sliders for each game individually? Is there a way to add scanlines without the curvature?
  4. Nice... I just updated my rom set and going to set up MAME and Arcade next. Hoping for a new version of Lightspeed as well. Thanks for the help and suggestions.
  5. Ok, thanks for the reply. I'm definitely interested in checking out the BGFX shaders. Does the Arcade gui allow you to separate your settings by vertical and horizontal games, like MAMEUIFX?
  6. Maybe a suggestion as to what MAME version to use for shaders now that MAMEUIFX is gone?
  7. I got it figured out. If, by some strange twist of fate, someone else has this question in the future... you have to uncheck "valid emulator/modules only" on the RocketLauncher UI tab. Why would an option that hides all your emulators and modules when you are making a new system be enabled by default?... I have no idea.
  8. Hey guys, I set up a couple new systems in RL and unlike my global system, they don't show anything in my emulator list... and if I try to create a new emulator within those systems the module list is blank (unlike global). So, my question is... my emulator list for global already has my emulators in it... how do I get those new systems to draw from that same list of emulators?
  9. Oh, that's a really good way to do it then. Thanks.
  10. The beta downloads are generally very slow. I can see how extra bulk in the download would be a concern.
  11. That was really nice of Antropus to consider it given that he didn't know what you meant. lol
  12. It doesn't work any more until updated again by Antropus... due to changes in Launchbox, it is broken for now. Antropus is working on a new version. You can read over the last few pages of this thread for more info if you are interested.
  13. I was designing bezel art for use with Rocketlauncher not too long ago... I liked the flexibility of it... but I don't understand the request for Rocketlauncher support? How would Lightspeed support it? What was the intent on how that would work? Rocketlauncher basically just launches an extra layer of options... Launchbox can launch Rocketlauncher already, with all it's benefits. If Lightspeed already loads the games into Launchbox, what else is needed?
  14. It will be really nice to have a version of Lightspeed that works with the newest Launchbox. I have really missed it. The new features and interface are pretty exciting too.
  15. I recently mentioned this in another thread in the theming section but didn't get a reply. Seems like it would be a pretty obvious addition with all the theming going on lately, but maybe not.
  16. @Jason Carr Ok, so the marquee display would hide when an emulator that needs the second screen is in use? If so, that is perfect.
  17. @Jason Carr Wouldn't the marquee screen interfere with emulators that also need the second monitor?
  18. Gameboy DS and also pinball (backglass) are just two examples of why you would need to be able to turn the marquee screen on and off on a per-system basis.
  19. Filtering by missing art, etc has been requested for a long time.
  20. There is a lot of potential in the second screen marquee. It needs some basic features to really stand out. A couple things I can think of are being able to turn it off and on per system, and being able to select the image type per system. This would allow you to be able to do things like display backglass images for pinball, marquees for arcade, game maps for rpg's, fan art... the list of things you can do with that second screen could be fantastic... those a just a few quick examples... but it would need to be flexible with what images can be displayed.
  21. I agree... Structural improvements are the most important thing. Voice recognition.
  22. I guess I should clarify... I'm not looking for new toys in Launchbox. Features like voice recognition and social media, etc have no value to me. Most of the stuff I have ever asked for is organization and ease-of-use type stuff. I've watched and lost interest as Big Box has been rebuilt, voice recognition added, and that is all great. I'm glad that people who want those things have them. I bought Launchbox because I wanted to use Launchbox and that is what I look for when I'm following the change logs. I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong by asking for some attention to LB.
  23. Ok, no worries, Jason... I think those fixes for Windows 7 users are probably not visible to a lot of us guys that only use Launchbox and have been seeing a lot of very visible changes in BigBox spanning over quite a few updates, so I think that is probably where some of the misunderstanding lies.
  24. What are the Launchbox features you have been working on this week? I missed that when I was reading up.
  25. Yeah, I feel the same way, unfortunately. Hopefully, it can catch up soon.
