I recently started getting MAME .ini error messages when launching MAME games. It doesn't happen when I just use MAME, only when launching with RocketLauncher. If so, is it possible, Jason, to completely remove or disable the plugin until you have time to work on it?

With MAMEUIFX, my main MAME, shutting down again, I decided to go ahead and migrate to MAMEUI, which I haven't used for a while. As I was setting it up, I noticed that there are no options to select GLSL shaders (like Lotte's, etc) in the default game options. Does anyone know how that works for MAMEUI? Is it not supported?

Hey man... it was a two-parter... the first part with the bad list file was fixed, for me, by updating to the latest Lightspeed and deleting all the stuff from previous versions. The second part (fixed about two weeks ago, post 338) was to have the converter in the same exact folder as the list. Hope that helps... if not, that's all I got.

I basically said the same thing as Brad and I use and love it... I don't think he was trying to bash it.

kerszr, the best way I can describe it is a launcher for games that adds extra features... such as a pause menu, an easy way to control display of bezel art around your games, input stuff like joytokey and ultramap, and other things. Basically, a way to add stuff that emulators don't already have. It's a pain to set up, but can be useful. You may want to read up on it to see if it offers a specific feature you want before you mess with it.

Never mind... it was another problem related to the change in image directory structure. I figured it out... just going to delete the platform and start fresh.

I am trying to download all Steam banners for my Windows platform, however about half of them are missing banners. These are games that are in my Steam library. If I try to download the banner for an individual game from which it is missing, it says the banner is available for download... but nothing happens... no image is imported.

Old school would be Ultima... more recently Dark Souls.

Yeah, I gave up on it pretty quickly. Just just wanted something I could test out that would make use of the wheel logos and so on, but I have too many other projects to put a lot of time into it, unfortunately. Thank you for the helpful comments, though... I appreciate it.

Thanks for the reply... yes, I have them extracted properly. I tried another theme other than Clean Hardware last night and it did work. There were elements missing... I assume I have to supply backgrounds, etc... However, neither of them affected the platforms screen at all. It still has the default, generic look.

Sorry for the obvious questions, but did you extract the Theme folder from the package and change the setting in BigBox? You may even need to restart BigBox. Yeah, I did extract the folder and change the setting... I restarted it multiple times... I'll try to mess around with it some more. Is it possible I got a wrong version or something like that? *edit* These do go in the "theme" folder in the launchbox dir, right?

Hey guys... I tried the Clean Hardware theme because the screenshots looked great... didn't work for me at all. Are there any themes that are tested and working, just drop it and and it works? I just want to test this feature out to see if I like it in BigBox... don't want to invest too much time in it yet. Thanks.

Is there a way to start BigBox on your second monitor? If not, this would be a very helpful option to add.
