Could you please do a video for a ''playlist'' category please? Cheers!
Sure, but I need some ideas as to what you want to see. Any mock-ups, or pictures that help getting your thoughts across would also be helpful.

@flexzi You might be able to use ScummVM's autosave feature to get you past the initial prompt, then create a game specific override that from that point on saves to a different save slot.
-
I don't think it supports specifying the rom to load via command line. You either load it from the menu, or you have to manually edit some options in the main Wataroo.ini file for each rom (the autoload and cdf settings). At least that is how it used to be. I haven't tried using Wataroo for a while.

@ThatGamingChap, if you start SumatraPDF manually, then hit F11 to go full screen, it will remember that setting between sessions.

The one I linked to contains standard clear logos. There is a twin pack with white outlines that may, or may not look better depending on which theme you are planning on using.
-
I have all of those, but you are better off downloading this pack from the download area here. It has a ton more just in case you need a new one later. Also, I double checked and there is a logo for each in your list in this pack.

Same here. No issues. Thanks so much for the update.

RocketLauncher no longer requires you to rename the platform from Arcade to MAME. It handles "Arcade" just fine as long as you use the default MAME module.
Here is my LaunchBox emulator setting for using MAME w/RL. Do you see anything obvious that is different to yours, other than the paths?

@FRK, I have uploaded both 16:9 and 4:3 versions of a Nostalgia Commodore Amiga 500 to my Nostalgia video additions sections. I hope it is close to what you were expecting.

@FRK, I have uploaded both 16:9 and 4:3 versions of a Nostalgia Commodore Amiga 600 to my Nostalgia video additions sections. I hope it is close to what you were expecting. I don't have the Amiga 500 version ready yet, but I am working on it.

Have you read this page on the WIKI? http://www.rlauncher.com/wiki/index.php?title=Fade

I'll just throw this out there. The newest versions of JoyToKey allow much more than just mapping joystick output to emulated keyboard output for gaming. You can use it to perform some pretty sophisticated things.

Unless I'm blind... I don't see the "Atari Classics" video anywhere. It's the only one of the Arcade Classics that I can't find. I swear I've been through the download list like three times.
Look under my Nostalgia Additions videos. I have an Atari Classics in both the 16:9 and 4:3 sections.

I tend to be a fan of having an entire series. That said I'm not sure that is the best option here. This is a no filler list and I think a lot of that stuff is so similar having a bunch of them could very much feel like filler. I don't think there is a one rule fits all solution here. I think you're going to have to make judgement calls on which entries in a series deserve to be there or if you are unsure maybe put it too a vote. I think it should also depends on how many entries a series has too. I don't see a problem with MK1,2, 3 and 4 for example. each entry has significant differences. However for Street fighter I think some would need pruning., definitely so for King of Fighters and Guilty Gear.
What @spectral said.

You mean non merged then merged is actually smaller than split.
You are correct!
-
I personally use a split set. I hesitate voting for a merged set because I have to be careful of an Internet cap each month. I come close to exceeding the cap way too often as it is.
Having said that, I fully support whatever the majority decide. This is a wonderful effort.
I personally think that the number of separate items should not exceed 500. I know I used to only use an updated version of the MAME 0.139 set which is much smaller than what we have today in a full, up to date set.

Wow, those really look great! I know there are those who don't like box shots that are recreated, but I'm sure not one of them. These are stellar, and I shall use them.
Thanks so much for posting them.

@Klopjero, I have been trying to pick up the slack for Viking. If you want some help on recreating the American Laser Games video, just give me the exact specs of what you want it to look like and I'll see what I can do.
-
@Mr.Laor, have you tried a different installation of RetroArch just for debugging purposes? RetroArch can be quite touchy, so you never know.
-
Because there are more than a couple of Amiga models, I am sure Viking had to pick one and go for it. That being said, I have been picking up the slack now that he is so busy with real life. If you have any requests, just let me know and provide exact specs of what you would like to see.

Honestly, I don't recall there ever being a specific one for the 500 and/or 600. There was just the one featuring the Amiga 1000 called Amiga.mp4.

I need a way to directly convert the file from 7zip to GZ. As I don't have enough room to extract all my games out of the current .7z format. I have a feeling I may need to buy another hdd :(.
There is no way to directly convert from 7zip to GZ without an intermediate step of uncompressing the 7zip first. I have created and tested a batch file with included 7z.exe to give you what you want. Drop the zip file in the same directory as your 7z files and uncompress it. Next run the 7z2gz.bat file. It will create all the temporary files, directories, etc. required to convert one file at a time, so you only need, at maximum, twice the disk space of your largest image. Note: this will take a while depending on how many images you need to convert. I also recommend you do a test run using only one or two of your files in a separate area to make sure everything behaves as it should. I make no guarantee this script won't delete all your images!
Having said that, like I said above, I did test this on a subset of my images with no problems observed.

Sure, no problem. I'll add it to my work queue.
