  1. These are all awesome, thanks so much Viking. 2 more requests please: Sega Genesis Neo Geo MVS (the red arcade machine) Thank you!!
  2. Yes I'm perfectly fine with an Amiga 1200 instead. Thank you Viking!
  3. Thanks Viking! No, I'm sorry, I don't know where to get any platform videos for 3DS or the WiiU. I searched the EmuMovies FTP for you, but could not find anything.
  4. Great work as always Viking! Would you please consider doing a video for the Commodore Amiga 500 based on this image (or one like it)? I've also attached an Amiga 500 platform video for convenience. Thank you! Amiga.mp4
  5. Never had any crashes before to speak of, but now I'm suddenly getting crashes pretty frequently with this update. Happens most often when switching between systems, and sometimes when closing out one game then starting another in MAME.
  6. We definitely need a red SNK Neo Geo MVS arcade machine!
  7. Great project as always, Viking. Thank you!
  8. Thank you for that explanation Brad, I appreciate it. I used MAME Content Manager to trim down the list by hand, one by one. I was meticulous about keeping the parent roms, and the latest revision of the US version of the game, if one exists. Some other clones were kept if they were noteworthy. I also had the bios files included in the list. I could understand if LB knocked out any "orphan files" where I left out the parent, but that could not possibly be the case here. I'm going to print a list of the both directories - my folder of roms versus what was imported - then run a comparison on the lists to isolate what was unceremoniously dumped. Maybe that will tell me more. Thanks, GG
  9. The layered PSD is included in the download. Just turn off the ring layers, insert your chosen logo and desired background (if any), and save as PNG.
  10. While we're on the subject, can either Jason or Brad (or anyone who knows) tell me how Launchbox determines which MAME roms are "playable" during the import process? The reason I ask is, I've been trying to import a heavily curated folder of good, working roms into Launchbox. For some reason, LB refuses to accept a large number of them, but gives no indication as to which ones it is refusing. The only filter I have checked is to exclude non-playable roms, Out of about 2800 roms that I know do work, approximately 600 of them will not import. My folder of roms comes from the MAME 0.177 set, all with their original filenames. For the life of me I cannot understand what's going on. Could something be wrong with this particular filter?
  11. Hi Viking, Many people like myself like to have interesting clones of MAME games listed in a separate wheel. I gave it a try myself and came up with a couple of choices. Would you mind giving it a shot, and creating something similar in your own style? Thanks, GG
  12. Any chance of getting a copy of the blank background?
  13. Hey Viking, would you please also do an American variation of the Super Nintendo logo? It's exactly the same as what you have already done, but you just have to remove the colored circles at the top of the logo. Thank you!
  14. Wonderful, thank you so much Viking! Your subtle drop shadows and shading make these logos really pop. Outstanding work.
  15. Hey Viking, sorry, minor change request here. Would you please add an "S" to those new logos? As in "Atari Classics", "Capcom Classics", etc. They look great, it just sounds a little odd to have "Classic" instead of "Classics".
  16. Thanks Aurel. It wouldn't necessarily be a game video that is played however (although of course you could if that's what you prefer). Some people like myself might want to play cinematic videogame intros, movie snippets, vintage TV commercials for home console systems, etc. Whatever files you put into this folder are simply played in random order. Other than not repeating the last video played, there really doesn't need to be any intelligence behind it.
  17. Hi, I like Attract Mode very much, but I think a terrific enhancement would be to allow the user to select a different type of mode if desired. This "alternate" mode would be to allow the user to simply point to a folder where they could store any videos they like, and Attract Mode would choose a video at random to play fullscreen. It would continue to play one video after another, and keep looping until the user takes control. The user might want to fill this folder with their favorite gameplay videos, or maybe some really interesting game intros that they've collected over the years (which is why I'm asking for this feature!). The user has total control over displaying what they feel is the best media to show off their arcade system. What do you guys think? I hope you'll consider adding this feature! Thanks, GG Edit: Here's the link to the ticket for voting https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/1632/attract-mode-enhancement-play-full-screen
  18. Awesome, thank you! One request - we need a MAME logo. Would you please create one similar to this?
  19. Hi, I can't seem to open the file "Magnavox Odyssey.png". Is it corrupted? Would you please re-post, or fix it for the next update? Thanks and again, terrific work.
