  1. Well, as we can see from your post count which, including this colorful one, amounts to a whopping 2 posts, it seems you never bothered to ask anyone on the forums for the slightest bit of help. I hear Jason was planning to implement telepathic tech support in the next beta, where he can instantly be aware of any issues you're having with his software, all without you saying a word! Too bad you won't be around to see him roll out that new feature. Good luck.
  2. @viking Hey Viking, would you mind doing a slight modification of this logo? I need a logo for my "Top 100 Arcade" playlist, and I'd love to use this. Instead of "Nintendo" at the top, would you please change it to say "Top 100"? Keep everything else the same though...the rest is perfect. Thanks!
  3. The moderation team here is arguably the most helpful and personable group of people I've ever seen in any online forum community. Perhaps it's just you.
  4. Terrific, thanks very much. I also thought TurboGrafx-16 was missing, so I went through the @Index file. I think it's not being picked up because LB lists the platform as "NEC TurboGrafx-16". Now it works fine.
  5. Is there an overlay for the Panasonic 3DO available in this theme? I could have sworn Viking did a video for it, but I can't find an image in the file.
  6. Perhaps you should take the time to learn the application first before asking other people to modify their work to bend around your expectations. It's really not that confusing. Don't enable background videos if you don't want background videos to play in your theme.
  7. Why beat around the bush? HyperSpin. I've seen trees grow and evolve faster than that piece of glacial-ware.
  8. If you use an application in an unusual manner (such as allowing updates but not wanting it to update), you can't be that surprised when it eventually does what you already gave it full permission to do. Don't want Launchbox to update? Then uncheck the 3 available options you have been provided for updating the application. Jason is one guy and to my knowledge, he doesn't own a crystal ball. He can't be expected to account for absolutely everything that falls outside the boundaries of normal use cases.
  9. With the texture applied, it doesn't really look to me like the TV and console setup is sitting in a big empty room. It just sort of looks like it's hanging there. I would skip the texture since it seems to ruin the whole illusion.
  10. At least you get an error message. As of Beta 14, my BigBox won't even open anymore. Icon disappeared from my desktop as well as the install directory. And yes, I have a fully licensed and legit version.
  11. Very cool, thank you sir. I'll be testing this one out tonight.
  12. I would also love the ability to specifically decide which title and corresponding artwork to display for a given game. For example, there's Tapper and Root Beer Tapper. If I want to display Root Beer Tapper for the name and the artwork for that specific variation, being able to indicate that in the Edit dialogue box would be super useful. You could also do that for regional variations (i.e. display the Japanese version of a title). Basically, just a dropdown menu in the Edit window linked to the parent and corresponding clones, and you select the preferred version. Only problem is, you would need a mechanism in the database for being able to tag specific artwork files to specific versions (i.e. this advertisement flyer is for Root Beer Tapper and not Tapper). And of course, people would need to use it
  13. What a relief....I was starting to get a little nervous myself Good to have you back in action buddy. Family and life comes first.
  14. Yes, you can continue to use LB and BB forever, you just need to renew to take advantage of updates. I have multiple forever licenses. Just makes more sense economically and I absolutely love the product.
  15. I'll never understand people like this. You'll derive limitless entertainment and utility out of a product that only costs $20 a year for a legit license, and you still pirate a copy of it? That's equivalent to 4-5 Starbucks coffees. Just how short on cash are you?
  16. Oh nice, thanks very much. Not sure how I missed those!
  17. Hey Viking, would you mind doing a logo for online games distributor "Good Old Games" (gog.com)? Thanks in advance! GG
  18. Oh wow, I'm so sorry Brad. I found your tutorials and your knowledge to be invaluable. I hope despite whatever happened, you stay active in the community and we continue to have you around. Thanks for your many contributions.
  19. Hijacking this thread because you don't feel like you're getting your issue resolved fast enough is completely inappropriate. If you've already reported the bug, then you do what the rest of us have to do in these situations....wait patiently for it to get resolved.
  20. The "best" emulator, or shader, or control scheme (or anything whatsoever) for a given system is a matter of opinion and personal preference. The community itself can't even agree on what is best for what platform.
  21. If you think the HD space savings are impressive, Just think how much this is also saving Jason and others in bandwidth that was being wasted on each user downloading thousands of duplicate images.
  22. That looks fantastic. Thanks for all your hard work Grila!
  23. I agree, a choice is always preferable. If you want to see a feature added, best to submit a ticket for it so that it gets on the to-do list.
