I don't know if that's working as intended, but frankly I would rather have Launchbox stay within the Platform/Category it was left in for Attract Mode. For example, if I have an arcade cabinet that just happens to have a few consoles available for nostalgia, I would want to be able to leave it in Attract Mode just for my arcade games. I wouldn't want it flipping back and forth randomly to just anything available. I would want to have some degree of control over what is being displayed on my cabinet while it's not being used.

For you guys using dark fonts for your posts....if you want anyone to be able to read what you're saying, a dark font against the default dark forum background makes it unnecessarily difficult. Just tossing that out there.

Thanks, but if you delete the xml file for the playlist from the data folder, the file just keeps getting regenerated.

Sorry guys, this is probably a silly question. How do I delete a playlist once it's created? I was going to just delete all of the games in one of the Arcade playlists, but was worried that it would also delete the games from my Arcade platform as well.

Hi Faeran, First of all, awesome theme. I try just about every theme that pops up here, and although the competition is fierce with some absolutely stunning themes, I think yours is exactly what I'm looking for....thank you! Something that I just noticed that I'm hoping you can fix. It seems that when a clear logo has its text completely in black, it disappears from your scroll wheel. You can see it when that particular logo is the active highlighted one, otherwise it disappears. This is most noticeable in Sega Master System games, where many of the logos are done completely in black text. Any way to fix this? It's a pretty noticeable issue. Hopefully this screenshot illustrates what I mean. Look at the scroll bar below. Thanks, GG

Hey Viking, would you mind releasing an updated version of your PSD file with a "sample" logo that has your personal settings for drop shadows included? Whenever I make my own logos, I noticed that the drop shadows behind the logos you create always come out better than mine, so I'm wondering what settings you use. Thanks very much!

CPK, Jason practically just released the function 10 minutes ago. Forgive me for saying this, but you're sounding a little demanding for minutiae, for something that really isn't crucial or key to the core functionality of the app. I for one would rather Jason spent his time on more meaningful issues with the application than catering to people who for whatever reason can't be bothered to Alt-Tab out, or heaven forbid walk away from the computer to do something else for a bit while the process is underway. Give the guy a break.

Parsing any list of thousands or tens of thousands of line items possibly from multiple different sources and attempting to compare them to a database trying to match each to a known entry, then return a list to you in a legible output format takes time. No way around that. Let's not start getting unreasonable with our expectations here.

Looks like an awesome and very creative theme. Outstanding work! One thing that jumps out though. I think the glare and reflections effect on the TV screen should be toned down just a tad so that the gameplay videos are easier to see. I love the effect, I just think at that intensity, it's a little distracting. Look forward to the release.

Hey CriticalCid, Awesome job on these, but it looks like I found a mistake in one of the videos. In the video for the "Punch-Out!!!" arcade game, the theme artwork itself is fine. However the actual gameplay video is from Mike Tyson's Punch-out, not the regular Punch-Out game. There is already a separate theme video for the Mike Tyson version. Would you mind re-recording this one with the right gameplay footage? It's a huge favorite of mine, so this has been bugging me Thanks for all your hard work. Griff

Thanks for your reply neil9000. I never touched anything in the BigCouch folder, except to add videos to the theme. The background images and vignettes were in the theme folder as they should be, but were not displaying, even after running the image refresh a few times. What I just did was delete the theme, ran BigBox once, closed it out, then I re-installed the theme. For some reason that worked. Strange, but all is well now. Thanks!

Hey Viking, this theme is really terrific. I'm using the beta right now, and I think I'm going to keep this as my permanent theme. One request though - if it's not too much trouble, could you please leave in the view you had earlier where the games are displayed by their clear logos? Pretty please!
